I haven’t use Ede to make my soup even though I grew up with it, I think the thought of pounding it made me stick to other readily available alternatives. I also like using grounded ukpo to cook soup as a thickener too.

You can blend it- dice into a blender and put a lil warm water. I have never pounded and I don’t even know how to pound it well.
