Killing of endangered species is an offence in all countries.

Like I told the guy above, the law decides what constitutes cruelty against animals.

Homosexuality has no correlation to bestiality. These are two entirely different phenomenas.

What's necessary about killing animals for food?

Meat diet is not even good for the body, and meat production is terrible on the environment.

We don't need meat to survive. We don't need to eat it.
So why is it necessary to kill animals?

But we don't just kill animals for meat, do we??
We used some of their body parts in advanced pharmacy and medical practices.
we use them to also better understand our body and the natural interactions of our biochemistry.
We use their skins for essential products.
The trade of these animals for other purposes are very vital to man's economic development and by extension, survival.

As I said earlier, we are evolving in our thoughts and beginning to recognize animal rights which results have brought about in conservation efforts, better regulations in killing of animals.
By genetically modifying animals, we're essentially creating our own animal's. We basically created non reproductive breeds of some animals like broilers and layers to artificially sustain our meat and egg cravings. All these are parts of efforts to control how we kill animals because we realize it is bad doing so unnecessarily.

Although, all these have no correlation with the question of the illegalization of homosexuality.
