There's no army on planet earth as useless as the nigerian army. Very primitive and unintelligent set of uniformed animals. They show courage and valor when confronted with unarmed civilians but will go AWOL and MIA when bokoharam comes visiting.

Service-personnel enter the military with the will and courage to fight for Nigeria, its just that once they get in there, they have to be of exceptionally high moral standing to not compromise their soul, some do. This is because Abuja has too much on its plate, and like a dog with a bone, Abuja doesn't want to let go even when that bone is sure to end up choking it to death. Abuja budgets for military, Abuja budgets for police, Abuja budgets for toilets in primary schools, Abuja budgets for sewage line in the village, Abuja budgets for everything budget-able, and still wants to take on more unnecessary work even though this government campaigned on the restructuring mantra. For Christ-sake, decentralize the police, give state more funds to make this happen. Abuja hold on to the EFCC, EFCC should be the federal police. Well armed, Well trained and given an additional mandate to tackle inter-state crime.

After seeing the videos, am ready to partake in any massive protest today... This is disgusting.

The soldiers fired directly at the crowd.

This country must burn, I hope majority of the people feel the way I do.

This country is just so useless.

I hope ISWAP and Boko Haram will show this useless military personnel hell in the north east.

Foolish people that are always gallant whenever they are facing armless civilians. When they see ISWAP or boko Haram, they will drop their weapons and flee. An army that has not been able to win any battle since 1999.

Even in Sierra Leone and Liberia, it was foreign military that did most of the job... What a useless military.

For over 8 years dey have been struggling against terrorist o.

I hope serious sanctions will be placed on our military, I am also ready to sign the petition.

Let's try to be logical, and put emotions away, with the breakdown of law and order across the state, protesters ought to have reasonably stayed away, that's the civic thing to do after the governors call for lockdown and the common sense behind it, to prevent hoodlums from taking over.
Truthfully unless we have more video and observe the mannerisms or the shooters, we can't really say if it's the army.

If you don't have sense and you just pumped up with emotions, I don't care for you.

The Military that is struggling to appeal to it's citizenry in Nigeria could not avoid this Trap.

Too Bad the Army fell into this Trap.

It is definitely the military, from the videos I saw. And yes they can ride in white hilux trucks. In Oyo state Op Burst uses white hilux, in kwara state the army uses white hilux when patrolling Kwara poly.

I'm terribly sad and ashamed right now, ashamed I've stood and defended this same military time and time again. They're just a tool of oppression, nothing more!

My God!!!!!!!!! Why are you this daft?!
The punishment for violating a curfew shouldn’t be death.

Hundreds of eye witness are telling you it’s the military killing peaceful protesters sitting peacefully and waving the Nigerian flag while singing the national anthem, there’s even a clear as day video of the men in uniform shooting sporadically at the site of this massacre, yet you need more videos to observe the mannerism of these cowards before you can make a conclusion?

The curfew was even extended to 9pm by the Lagos state gov't due to the traffic situation in the state and the short notice of the initial pronouncement.
