Again, individual usage matters. Don't forget, your network's "rainbow" won't let you achieve a good battery life. So, if it's impossible for you ≠ impossible for some other users.

Simply download a better Keyboard and you are good to go..
I've never for once used the Redmi Keyboard and I can't tell how good it is because automatically after buying a new phone I install SwiftKey..

Which one is Redmi keyboard again? Isn't gboard the default keyboard on Xiaomi devices at least the global versions/roms?
