He is one of the fastest RB in bundesliga ...in fact the RB spot is reserved for him ..this is a lost battle for aina.

RB reserved for Ehzibue as if others payers na monkey

So ebuehi aina are just wasting their time ?

Why was he not invited the last time ?

Ehizibue is good, maybe better than Aina...but don't be too sure yet that he will automatically get the RB spot... Remember he had the chance to make the role his own prior to the world cup but he wasn't ready to commit,so we got Ebuehi instead..

Lol he even said the RB spot is reserved for him

Someone that looks like he aint ready to play for us yet

I weak

when it comes to experience idowu has it over bassey but be honest and without mincing words bassey has the potential to metamorphose into a no nonsense leftback cum centre back in the future. remember he is just 20 years old

i have seen him play couple of times and i assure you that he is more talented than idowu.
smartsmith0907:

Agreed with the bolded grin ....but the first paragraph remember idowu is an integral member of the team ,a world cup player and very experienced..he tops bassey in this.

Remove the maybe he is better than aina
And he is guaranteed of a spot because he is obviously better than aina and ebuehi for now ...ebuehi will still give a fierce competition when he is fully fit.

It seems you have something against aina

Ebuehi can fight but aina cannot fight

Ehizibue is not even a super eagles player yet but you don reserve him spot because you be rohr assistant

Its well grin

Ehzibue is obviously better than aina and ebuehi and the impetus behind a player starting is your form and fitness..ebuehi is a good RB but not fully fit so we have ehzibue in the spot for now ...he will always start ahead of aina
Simple!!!

Probably colins.
But to be candid idowu still has a lot to offer I missed him in the game against Brazil ..he would have tamed Gabriel Jesus that day..we need him for such kind of game...he knows how to absorb presssure Argentina games comes in mind....

Nope.. u remove Collins,u replace him with a midfielder...
We had 9 defenders for the last friendlies..that was unnecessarily..

I don't think Idowu has anything new to offer us..The 10 games he played was enough to know how good he was..

Nobody is guaranteed anything.
Before the world cup, some of us already placed Aina automatically on the list of players that would be in Russia as per say he was playing better than Echijele at that time..What happened when Aina got his SE chance??

Club and national team are different.. Until Ehizibue gets his national team chance and proves he is better than Aina, nothing is reserved for him...

I need to see him play

His stats are the normal average stats of some of our players and not better

He is playing for koln and they have been poor just like aina fulham grin

I cant see where this dude is better than ebuehi or aina, maybe i will eat my words when i see him play for eagles

I repeat, he has just been average at koln and not that impressive as you said

Lol

I like ebuehi but everything you said here you are bias

If not for that wicked injury i whould have rated ebuehi above all of them , because benfica no be small club

Dont say aina is not on the same level with ebuehi and ehizibue, they havent done more than average as a footballer and so do aina

Go and check the wing backs at torino the last 2 season and you will wonder how aina managed to play 62 seria A games

None of ebuehi and ehizibue are better than the fullback at torino but they are both better than aina according to you

Aina might not have been at his best in the eagles, but i like the aina i watched at the last AFCON

Its easy to send collins and aina to the bench when you play for a big club like porto

But i am yet to see anything special about zaidu for now in the eagles (He has been decent for porto thou)

What difference did zaidu brings to the left back if i may ask? be truthful to yourself

Zaidu sent aina and collins to the bench because he plays for the best team in portugal and a top european club and not his performance as he was just average against algeria and tunisia

Finally Ehizibue is not better than ebuehi or aina

First of all, intelligence in itself is a spectrum. We only consider people at the extreme upper end if it geniuses. For some tasks, only an average level of intelligence is required. Persistence can take you the rest of the way. I believe we throw the word 'Genius' around a lot. Mathematics in itself may not require ingenuity, but the way you get your result and how fast you do it may be what defines your ingenuity. Maybe you do, but I don't decide that someone must be a genius to get an A in a course. People with an average level of intelligence get As by studying hard. And what you just described is knowledge acquisition, anyone will probably be more knowledgeable than their peers if they take their studies more seriously. It's that simple. Let me be clear again, using intelligence may better suit your argument. Not being dull doesn't make you a genius. Hard work usually always enables you to get better results, irrespective of your level of intelligence. A musician could pull off a brilliant performance by rehearsing and finetuning his notes. Ingenuity may sometimes be distinguished by time. It may take someone of average intelligence7 years to master a certain technical job, but it may take you less than 6 months. Well in this case we could term you a genius. but first, we may have to establish how long it takes an average person to master it. Genius definitely has other manifestations besides time.
TheGoodJoe:

I think it falls to an angle.

I have been in a study group where I was the block head and the guys in the group were what we would call pure geniuses.

These guys came off secondary school with mostly A's and I was a pure C student.

I was motivated, determined and passionate to excel in that group. I believe I worked ten times harder than them round the clock.

Some months later, really several months later, I was clearly ahead of them in every way.

As one of them put it, I transformed into a genius.

Resilience can unlock hidden geniuses.

You can say there are different types but my point is, working hard to unlock a code does not mean dullness it could even mean brilliance.

Ultimately, the end justifies the means. What good is your genius if you finish behind a guy who you thought was inferior to you. And , now , you are making excuses and giving reasons why he dusted you. And , you want to calculate how long it took him to best you. Were you sleep when he was studying ? Also, think we throw that word intelligent around too carelessly.

WAFU U-17: Eaglets’ camp opens Wednesday

The Golden Eaglets Camp ahead of the 2021 Africa Youth Championship slated for Morocco will be opened on Wednesday this week.

The Fatai Amoo led teenagers’ training camp was earlier scheduled to commence this weekend but it was gathered there has been changes in plans

With Abuja remaining the camp and potentially Goal Project of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Package B as their training base, 80 selected players will converge this Wednesday to battle for the national colours.

The country’s U17s now to be led by coach Fatai Amoo were earlier set to open camp this weekend.

With hostilities for the championship commencing early December, it was gathered there will not be an open screening rather the coaches will compile a list of 80 players because of the short time the team have before the zonal U17 AFCON qualifiers in Benin from December 5.

The five-time world champions are drawn in Group B of the WAFU B qualifiers along with arch-rivals Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.

The top two teams in this zonal qualifiers will advance to the tournament proper in Morocco next year

Who has ever delivered a cross? Isn't that what the Onuachu argument was about?

Aina and Collins have delivered crosses that lead to goals in the GWG...

We are talking in general about our full backs contributing to the attack... That's a department Idowu is lacking in.. IMO, he is another version of Shehu...we don't need that...

Why not wait for Ehizibue to get the same chance before making conclusions?
