Messi is bigger than Bartomau

if Messi was bigger than him then Messi himself should not be in barca by now. The man had simply lost favour with the club and fans.

Iheanacho will be better in the supporting striker role. There his creativity link up play and goals will be most efficient. He is good as a deep lying firward in a 2 striker formation

Zaidu was really impressive today against Olympiacos. He reminds me of Celestine babayaro damm it took us 24 years to replace babayaro hope he can last. This also shows that Porto might not be a racist club afterwards and if youre good, you would get a chance. I.e awaziem, nwakali, yahaya

I think the problem is we abandoned grassroots football. Grassroots is the basis of sports and football development.

I rarely see the sand in most matches in Europe..

But in that uyo stadium..if any grass pull, boom, red sands everywhere

The sand is actually put there by the ground staff during halftime. I am completely against the practice but what I also know is that Uyo has the best pitch in the country. In fact I would put the training pitch outside against any pitch in the Nigeria.

This attitude of making sure everyone is included even when they are undeserving is doing us no good. The other states can buy the same turf used in Uyo and make their pitch playable. Instead they are pulling the why always them card.

The enyimba pitch is the best playing surface in Nigeria. It is a combination of fiber and hybrid grass

The best ARTIFICIAL pitch definitely not the best pitch.

Who??

Lookman, Adarabioyo, Ejaria??

You guys don't seem to understand the gaffer. Or maybe I don't.

He isn't talking about new players entirely.

"some of the new players"

Not

"some new players"

He's referring to the guys that played the friendlies

Ejaria, Moffi?

You won't even allow them debut. The way people create lineups with players that have not debuted yet. smg.

Na so una do for Lookman, now all of una don withdraw as Southgate is romancing him. Make una continue

TT was good from an attacking stand point but his defending left a lot to be desired. Will Have to watch Sanusi over a period of time before I can conclude he's better than Taiye Taiwo

but honestly what's the rocket science in planting grass, watering and mowing it from time to time?

a whole country with how many stadiums and not 1 decent playing surface

nelszx:

The Enyimba pitch is almost same as the Uyo pitch
It's a technology for laying of pitches used (forgotten the name right now)

The Enyimba pitch isn't same as the synthetic turfs we see in Kano and Jos.

Zaidu is good ,playing for porto no be beans ,I wasn’t happy till Alex telles joined united to pave way for him because some peeps said porto doesn’t like naija player but zaidu is now a regular there ,when we said the ones there aren’t good enough e be like say na too much talk

Nwakali yahaya aren’t porto standard ,awaziem was good enough for their bench but not anymore

You said it took is 24 years to replace Celestine Babayaro? Is Taye Taiwo a winger ?

The last time I checked taye is a better LB than babayaro

It won't be used, CAF hasn't approved VAR for any qualifiers. It has VAR capacity but a very useless turf.

Na packaging the stadium get, nothing more.

Osihmen is the 12 fastest player according to UEFA technical report

Osimhen registered a speed of 32.98 km/hr during Lille's match against Ajax Amsterdam, which is exactly one kilometer slower than the pacy Paris Saint-Germain striker Mbappe.

Guy when will you chillax about this turf matter? When you go leave matter for mathias ehn?

You had been vocal since about the conditon of the pitch, have you play there yet, or better still, which one have you laid, and construct?

You had been shout Europe stadia, and those around the world, but you forget that they started from somewhere else

you grap my point?

it is rocket science in Nigeria bro, imagine what the national stadium at Abuja looks like. Anything that has to do with facility management in Nigeria is rocket science.

JohnBullMySon:
it's hybrid yes, but it's different from the 'hybrid ' top stadiums in the world, in fact those stadiums are not really hybrid per se as they don't have artificial grass. They only have artificial roots fibres to hold the natural grass and make it more stable (desso grassmaster & sisgrass). The one at Enyimba just pours some sort of feed on top of artificial grass and allows natural grass to grow on it, it's not used in top stadiums as it is not better than natural grass.

there is a stadium in kastina or so that has exactly that Enyimba type of grass, why are super eagles not using it. Also aperaku stadium has exactly that hybrid grass too, why did we not go for it as well? Or are the Super eagles dumb? There is still a quality difference. Those pitches only look nice and have less maintenance, though they are good, they are not better than all natural pitches.

You are talking about Katsina and Aperaku na wao..

Playing surface aren't the only criteria that determine which stadium the super eagles will play..
What about the overall condition of the stadium itself?
And most importantly, what about the infrastructure available in the city where the stadium is located? Hotel, airport and access road??

Agreed most importantly security of the place must be put into cognizance.
There many factor that must be consider before choosing a stadium for an international match.
