I doubt that. They play against teams that press in the bundesliga regularly without problem. The likes of sabitzer, Nkunku and co are quality players, so that one nobi excuse
They just had problem with the set up we used yesterday, they found it difficult to progress the ball to create chances, thus resulting to recycling possession.

Funny enough, Ole must have seen Leipzig last league game against Hoffenheim , and adopted Hoffenheim strategy with little fine tuning to contain them. Even though they eventually beat Hoffenheim 2-1, but they found it difficult to break them down throughout the game. Those ones lost because they couldn't keep up their concentration level throughout the game.

The key to Ole's win yesterday was Leipzig last match were he must have discovered that the team is useless against low block, hence the 4-4-2

Lol... you must be part of Ole's backroom staff seeing sure you're about the bolded. grin

You don't have to be his staff to know the obvious.

A lot of people online that have followed Leipzig games will also come to the same conclusion, and with the fact that we have the midfield personnel to play that formation to perfection, it's no brained that , Ole and his technical team will go in the direction of a 4-4-2
What is surprising to me is that Nagelsmann must have seen it coming, yet he couldn't adjust accordingly, instead he stuck to his style.
Nagelsmann na confirm purist, I swear. He's just the younger version of Van gaal who usually stick to their style of play, no matter the opposition tactics

Kante and Fred is now very much a healthy debate.

We haven't even played the 2nd leg of the group stage matches lol

The Champions League agenda starts in full force if we make it to the semifinals smiley
For me if we make it to the final cos Sevilla is still fresh on my mind. I've already lifted that EL trophy in my mind only for that game to happen.

Someone cannot even enjoy a good win in peace again. Unnecessary argument everywhere. +facepalm+

And you guys are actually arguing with someone that calls himself “Lostmyzeal”? How can you make someone that has lost his zeal see anything positive? That is a futile exercise na.

Low-key wasn't sure United would beat Inter if they made it the final. Considering it now, better off with the Sevilla defeat, than for Romelu / Young / Sanchez to come win the trophy while beating United at it.

The media would have literally gone crazy if it happened, and of-course the Ole-out agenda would have come out in full force cheesy

Well I'm just glad we won with a little bit of a statement, as for Nagelsmann, he can learn from this lose, learn pragmatism and become better or he can continue on his Puritan journey as you said.

I see someone up there saying City lost to Lyon because of Sterling.

So City to lost to Lyon because of the players but United lost to Sevilla because of Ole and his late subs.

Why? O wrong nau?

Well it is what it is although for me playing in the finals is still better than losing in the semis and I don't really rate Inter that much, I mean we should handle them well.

That has been my heart cry. He plays very well with the skills and releases. There was a ball he should have shoot yesterday but he gave a pass. A born striker would have shout that ball without thinking.

Did you see Martial’s drive towards that defender before assisting Rashford for his last goal? The guy is a born winger.

I dont know about you, but for me, upgrading from Lingard - Prreira to VDB - Bruno is worth talking about. Afterall, we still occasionally talk about Jones even though that one doesn't play for us anymore.

Having a sound coach is solving one part of the problem. Any team will always struggle if coach get sense but the players dey play rubbish.

If Rashford came on yesterday and was doing his headless chicken runs or Bruno came on and was romancing the ball instead of playing Rashford through one time, we may not have won that match.

The 2nd and 3rd goal that Rashford buried yesterday, he missed similar chances vs Sevilla. What changed? Because Ole switched formation?
The only person we can make a case for that a change in formation has helped is Pogba.

The players have simply stepped it up a notch since that 6-1 loss to Spurs. We'll wait to see if they can maintain it and remain consistent.
Plus it definitely imbibes confidence looking at the bench and not seeing the likes of Lingard, Pereira, James and Williams as the mainstay of the squad.

We have preached this gospel for long "Martial is not a CF".

But no, Martial 20+ goals last season deceived some guys.

Haaland should be our next CF signing.

Can we start talking about Arsenal before things go south here? Everyone with their opinions, if you don't agree, you can engage the fella if he/she is someone you think you can engage without things going south...If not, make we learn to look the other side...

I believe what we all want is for the team to do well...l bet, even nani667 that is renowned for dropping #Oleout here was rejoicing yesterday...

Haaland will be awesome but let's see how far our current forwards with support from the other players take us this season. I still think Martial is better off coming from the left...The few times he drifted left yesterday, he had the beating of the Leipzig right back. Rashford for now has earned the right to strike for us, dude is channeling his inner Ronaldo...

Honestly Martial dnt v any business in Man UTD now.His inconsistencies is worrisome. A player will spend over two yrs with us n we will still b waiting for him to hit form .Martial can't try this nonsense in barca or Madrid. Dey will boot him out.We v gotten our mojo back.No player shud derail it .We v players who can replace him .

He has a clause in his contract that can be activated next year.

Haaland price range + agent fee should be around 70-100M, we have to work with Raiola this time abeg.

That match is unpredictable because it seems that both managers set up their team and lineup based on the opposition's tactics.

However, the likely weak link in the Arsenal backline (If they use 4 defenders) is Gabriel because of his style of play, but he's a huge threat from set-pieces.

AWB should have Auba in his pocket hopefully. Not sure about Shaw against Willian.

United's midfield is stronger, so that battle should be easily won.

Keep the 4-4-2 diamond. Bruno starts and either Pogba or VDB go back to the bench depending on Pogba's fitness. Greenwood and Rashford in attack. Same defense. McTom in for Matic.

This should be the line up to face Arsenal.

Degea

AWB. Lindelof. Maguire. Shaw.

Mc.tominay. Fred

Greenwood. Bruno. Rashford.

Cavani.

I am quite certain that Arteta will start with 3 at the back (Luiz, Gabriel and Tierney) flanked by 2 wing backs (Bellerin and AMN)...He'll as well park the midfield and hope to catch us on the break.

I just hope Ole starts Tuanzebe to deal with the pace of Aubameyang if he breaks free...

I don't think Gabriel will be the weak link o! That guy has looked very good since he joined Arsenal.

I am confident of our chances especially if our 2 destroyers start... grin grin grin

In the absence of Martial, it will be interesting to see who Ole starts alongside Rashford...Cavani or Greenwood?

I'll take off one of Cavani or Greenwood for Pogba just so we have firepower on the bench should we be losing going into the 2nd half.

Also, I will start Tuanzebe over Lindelof to deal with the searing pace of Aubameyang...
