Immediately after 1999 return to democracy, every SE governor clamoured unstopped for political restructuring of Nigeria’s roguish political structure in unitary government system.

Today’s SE governors are after prostrating for Fulani to appoint them president.
Some of them don’t even understand that 3 regions formed Nigeria at independence, therefore the 36 states should have been equally distributed between the 3 regions.

Many of them don’t understand that land mass or population is never used as criterion to create new political units in a country formed by different regions.

Many of them don’t understand that having 20 new political units in one northern region, but average of 8.5 new political units in each of the east and west regions is the reason why the southern politicians have to beg north for every thing in Nigeria.

Which region in Nigeria that is without poverty and it's manifestations. I have been in the north and I have seen scanty middle class and numberless people living in abject penury. I am currently in the west where we have Lagos and Ogun states that are acclaimed better economy states in Nigeria and I am seeing underdevelopment, very terrible bad roads and harsh standard of living. Judging from my experience no place in Nigeria is meal gotten on a platter of gold. There are even more beggars in other regions than you can see in the south east go and verify. Southeast states is even better than most states even with less federal presence and economy strangulation from Central government.

20 states in one region - north - but average of 8.5 states each in the east and west regions is a HUGE FRAUD done by northern military dictators who supervised state creation.

3 regions - north, east and west - formed Nigeria in 1960 with near balance of power between the three regions.
It’s fraudulent to use land mass or population statistics as yardstick to proliferate too many states in one region of a country formed by different regions.
It’s tilting of near absolute political and economic power to north through fraudulent proliferation of too many states in the north.

The 20 new states in north gave ownership of Nigeria to the north.

Restructure now, or split Nigeria into more manageable countries.
