Ebere Eze on the bench again

It seems like Hodgson won't be using him much

At 22 Neymar had over 40 caps for Brazil

Still, he had a lot seniors. It's about leadership not age!

Young but experienced no?

Varane wore the armband at 21 with 15 caps.

Osimhen is really celebrated. He's everyone's golden boy. As much as I'll want to agree with what u said the truth is Osimhen himself also needs Guidance. He's just 21 and I agree he has the potential to be a future captain. My choice woulda been Ndidi buh he seems like he's a very cool guy.
Does being a cool a guy mean he can't be a good captain?

Normal goal post shifting. The question was can he rally his troops and I have given u two perfect examples
Being frustrated or exasperated is not rallying your troops.
Thank God Rohr will not be thinking of this anytime soon.

Well Neymar had captained Santos in his homeland in some of their matches and had played 225 games with 136 goals by that age. That is a huge gap when comparing it with Osimhen's experience.

Well, as it is now Onuachu should not be in the same sentence with the SE. But he can continue firing in his club after all he's still a Nigerian.

Voicing said frustration is what? Who else does this on the team? Who else calls players out on our team? Our players don't even talk on the pitch.

Are you saying that Neymar's experience was more than Dani Alvez and Marcelo had? If we had u people's type of movable goalpost in Nigeria e for better ooo

How about this;

Youngest International Soccer Captains a
Zé Elias, Brazil: 19 years and two days

Aaron Ramsey, Wales: 20 years and 90 days

Darren Fletcher, Scotland: 20 years and 115 days

Julian Draxler, Germany: 20 years and 235 days

Dolf Kessler, Netherlands: 21 years and 28 days

Raphael Varane, France: 21 years and 172 days

Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal: 22 years and one day

Bobby Moore, England: 22 years and 47 days

Michael Owen, England: 22 years and 100 days

Neymar, Brazil: 23 years and 22 days

Lionel Messi, Argentina: 23 years and 343 days

https://www.google.com/amp/s/the18.com/soccer-entertainment/youngest-international-soccer-captains%3famp
Draxler, Varane and Owen were never NT captains. Ramsey was stripped off his captain band and given to a more experienced defender

Nah, that's not what I meant. From most of the videos I see in camp he seems like some one who barely talks in camp. Aside that he pretty much fits the bill

I'm saying that at 21 years of age Neymar had more experience than Osimhen, nothing justifies giving Osimhen captaincy, he has less than 10 caps for Nigeria and less than 100 games at club level.

Still doesn't mean he can't provide necessary direction, Mikel too is a quiet guy and he was a worthy captain

At the time was Neymar's coach comparing his experience to Osimhen or the rest of the Brazilian national team?

We are not Brazil. Not in any regard so this notion that our guys should meet up with the impossible is silly.

But you were the one that brought up Neymar in the first place. Osimhen hasn't done anything to deserve the Eagles captaincy now.

Lool voicing frustration because someone didn't play you in or missed a chance isn't leadership.
Thierry Henry thought he was a great captain doing that till he left and the likes of Adebayor, Hleb, RVP, etc started playing with more freedom and performed better.

With due respect who gives a f*ck about Adebayor playing better? Did we play with more freedom against Algeria or Tunisia?

See this is what you people don't see. Osimhen isn't complaining for u to pass him the ball, he wants you to make the right decision for his team. This is something his friends talked about way back as the U17 world cup. Like i said he is a natural born leader. He is selfless, he is bold and he leads empathy.

Tah, was Neymar the only name I mentioned. A 4 year old could see that I only used Neymar to show that it is possible to be a young captain.

Show me the rule book or forever hold your peace. Well Nigerians don't know what is good for them. I don't blame una. If Osimhen was Ghanaian they would respect him more. We are just nothing but haters here

Lol, I suppose there is a codex somewhere that says that shouting and being aggressive makes you a good leader.

you're the one making us look and sound like osimhen haters. No one hates him, Infact he has undue love showered on him here, but the captaincy as of now is a big no no. You're the one bringing qualities that will even make people hate him as the reasons why he should be captain.

Oga hater no be to kill person. I don talk this tire for here. No be una make up the term so use the original meaning. For a player to become the most expensive Nigerian striker of all time, the amount of negative comments made about him shows that the gate is real.

U just showed u are one of the haters sef. Which one is undue love? So being a selfless fighter makes people hate bah? Players will play and haters will hate

Obviously I am not speaking on every single Nigerian.

When his transfer was looking bad, hate. When he doesn't score, hate. Gets wrongfully sent off, hate. Wolfsburg nko? Should I go on?

If people here can love their British colonial clubs too much, oga leave me to love my Osimhen.
