I had similar issue as yours. Mine was WAEC 2/8 and int'l passport 3/8 but I swore an affidavit at the Notary public office which I used during the application process.

Hello house,
I'm definitely going to go through all 300 plus of this thread.
However, I would grateful if anyone can make some comments on my questions.
I have narrowed down two universities so far, Tampere University and Abo Akademi
My intended level of study is Masters in Social sciences related courses.
I observed that the highest number of intake for some of these courses is 30. My question is how competitive do these courses get ?
Anyone have any success getting admitted into social sciences related courses?

I think that's the best that can be done now..because I heard waec does not change date of birth/ names again and I can't even think of changing that on my passport...thanks bro

It's nothing much. I actually met my family lawyer who got the affidavit from the court. It's a statement on paper and came with a red seal.

Ooohh u mean the real affidavit....my question is how am i going to use that to defend my date of birth on my waec certificate? I have 2/3 on my Intl passport which is correct, I have 3/3 on my waec certificate which is wrong....so if I am to go for the affidavit it must be 2/3 on my Intl passport. So no any changes on my waec certificate

I really don't know because I've not done my interview yet but I believe it's not a big deal as long as you still have your birth certificate to back it up if the need arise.

Can anyone who have gone for his/her appointment for studies share their experiences. Kindly state the documents they asked for. My friends in Kenya said they only did biometric n capturing and nothing else.

Appointment for studies is just for you to present your documents & do biometrics at VFS. The documents are the ones you upload on Enterfinland website. After that they will schedule you for another appointment at the Finnish Embassy, where you will be ask questions about your course, like why the course , source of money ,why you decide to study in finland among others.

Good afternoon, I have gone through the threads here I think my case is different.
I finished high school since 2010 and I have been working with different companies for the 10 years and I think I have saved enough money to school abroad but I have some questions to ask.

1. Is my waec result still valid?
2. I'm 27 now. Will I be given admission?
3. Incase Norway doesn't work which country would accept me?

Any idea and advice would be appreciated so much.
