Haryoureendey4: I had similar issue as yours. Mine was WAEC 2/8 and int'l passport 3/8 but I swore an affidavit at the Notary public office which I used during the application process. |

Hello house, I'm definitely going to go through all 300 plus of this thread. However, I would grateful if anyone can make some comments on my questions. I have narrowed down two universities so far, Tampere University and Abo Akademi My intended level of study is Masters in Social sciences related courses. I observed that the highest number of intake for some of these courses is 30. My question is how competitive do these courses get ? Anyone have any success getting admitted into social sciences related courses? 1 Like |

Haryoureendey4: It's nothing much. I actually met my family lawyer who got the affidavit from the court. It's a statement on paper and came with a red seal. |

Is Finland really tuition free? Most of the institution I have been seeing so far charges huge amount as tuition |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Haryoureendey4(m): 7:42am On Oct 31, 2020 |
ogedozie:Ooohh u mean the real affidavit....my question is how am i going to use that to defend my date of birth on my waec certificate? I have 2/3 on my Intl passport which is correct, I have 3/3 on my waec certificate which is wrong....so if I am to go for the affidavit it must be 2/3 on my Intl passport. So no any changes on my waec certificate |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by ogedozie: 8:37am On Oct 31, 2020 |
GreatSage: it's no longer tuition free expect for higher vocational studies. |

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Haryoureendey4(m): 8:52am On Oct 31, 2020 |
ogedozie:so won't they question why my Affidavit is different to my waec certificate date of birth? I mean the v.o |
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by ogedozie: 9:40am On Oct 31, 2020 |
Haryoureendey4: I really don't know because I've not done my interview yet but I believe it's not a big deal as long as you still have your birth certificate to back it up if the need arise. |

Julibasil: Appointment for studies is just for you to present your documents & do biometrics at VFS. The documents are the ones you upload on Enterfinland website. After that they will schedule you for another appointment at the Finnish Embassy, where you will be ask questions about your course, like why the course , source of money ,why you decide to study in finland among others. |

Good afternoon, I have gone through the threads here I think my case is different. I finished high school since 2010 and I have been working with different companies for the 10 years and I think I have saved enough money to school abroad but I have some questions to ask. 1. Is my waec result still valid? 2. I'm 27 now. Will I be given admission? 3. Incase Norway doesn't work which country would accept me? Any idea and advice would be appreciated so much. 1 Like |

Hello Guys, Please I just received admission to study PhD at University of Turku in Finland. I have studied the thread from beginning to the end. I just want to meet someone who is going to the same school or someone already there. Their confirmation process seem unfamiliar and I need someone that has done it before or doing it now that we can rob mind together. I also need information on what the accommodation fee per month is now as against what other people stipulated in the past. Thank you. |
