Hi all. i have a bit of a problem and i hope that someone can advise me. i just recently received ITA and i am working on submitting my application. i had previously applied for a student visa to canada in 2014 and 2015. the problem is that, when i applied those times, it was with the help of an agent. at the time, the agent told me that i would have to submit the birth certificates of all my listed siblings, and as i could only find the birth certificate of only one of my siblings, he suggested that i claimed only 1 sibling in the application, whereas i have 3. i wasnt aware of the damage until the second time around, in 2015, when i read the form properly. my question now is that, while applying for this EE can i put my actual no. of siblings. as this will be a discrepancy, or is it advisable to stick to just 1 sibling to avoid any problems. thanks in advance

#PersonalOpinion

If it were me, I would list my 3 siblings on the eAPR for 3 reasons:
1) for conscience sake
2) in case IRCC actually find out and it becomes an issue...you never know if your siblings have ever applied to any country that shares info with Canada
3) in case your siblings would like to claim express entry sibling points in the future

PS: in your express entry eAPR you are not required to provide any documents for your siblings unless you are claiming sibling points.

It's wrong, they don't dish out ban unless for serious reasons like intentionally falsifying document. If it's a mismatch, you get a refusal but if your NOC is under C or D and you intentionally pick something under O, A or B just to fit in, you may be banned. They reject applications without strings attached too! Let's be mindful please.
That’s what I mean actually.

Please for those that have taken CBT IELTS with British Council, how long did it take to see your result online?

Hello!

Please do you know anyone that has landed in Canada in the last two weeks?

My COPR will expire soon too.

AVO frustration made me exit all groups I was on... Chai, I don't have access to the landing gists again. The last one I read was about two weeks ago, he said he was airborne when he opened his mail box to the don't travel yadda yadda... mail. Fear catch husband and wife but no turning back. They landed in Toronto and he got the welcome to Canada greetings. No hassles at all. He mentioned he traveled via Ethiopian airline and to avoid Turkish airline. Go to the other thread and ask questions. I mean the living in Canada thread. No allow your COPR expire please o

What about people who aren't ready to relocate fully? Since they say no soft landing for now?

You must be ready to settle down for you to travel now. If your COPR expires then you'll go through the rigorous process of getting renewal. I know someone whose COPR expired in April. He has not been able to get authorization to travel nor renewal. The guy is frustrated because they are not responding

I completely second this comment. It's obvious these Canada people are beginning to have the feeling that we are begging for this PR thing cos their 'anyhowness' is anyhow now o!

They have not been responding to people with expired COPR for months now... Their mails have been ignored. Don't fall in this bracket o! Ensure you travel before it expires.

Anyways, u won't blame IRCC..when they prolly have millions of approved/processing applications globally... They will do anyhow.

I just taya for the whole Canada Waka. In my 20th month now. I don leave am to God, face front

I have written to them via the web form on their website, but no response from them. Please can you give me details on how to facilitate it better. Thanks for your response.

What I did was to send a fax, you can get their fax number on WES’s website

I wrote a letter, requesting for the correction of the year of graduation on my ECA report and I attached a copy of my university certificate. I converted it to pdf and sent it to WES via fax.

I got a revised report in less than 10 days

Mehn... 20 months is flipping long o! Kilode. Have u ordered for GCMS recently? If your application isn't approved by now then u need to make moves. I recently understand that AVO write companies to confirm employment records for some people and if your coy fails to respond, your verifications would just be in progress and AVO won't say anything to you. If you fall in this bracket, u might need to contact your coy cos that's what causes delays most times.

I will get the email address they use in writing companies and share same. Perhaps, u can share with your HR peeps to check if they missed d mail

Hi Zeus
Do you think adding payslips to the reference letter from onset can avoid the need for all this checks etc.

I have collected my reference letter but the account dept are stalling me in providing payslips.

Maybe I should just be patient

Guys,

Is it compulsory to list all the companies you’ve worked with in your EE profile, even though you don’t want to claim points for all of them?

I have over 8 years experience but just want to claim for 4 years.

I don’t have time to be chasing an employer who doesn’t want to provide a reference
