Hi Guys please I have a question, sorry in advance for the long write up and any inputs will be appreciated. I got nominated by NS and my current ee point is 1055, my profile expires at the end of Feb, I’d lose 5 points in December(birthday). When I submitted my documents to NS for the nomination I used 2 gift deeds from my cousins in the US which made up the bulk sum of the money along with a letter of explanation that I’m studying abroad now as such my family foots my bills and I was still able to get the nomination. Considering my current EE point I’m certain I’d receive an ITA next draw but I’m thinking maybe I should keep rejecting the ITA till the money hits 6 months in my account( 2 months left). The reason for this is; I don’t want to apply for PR using the gift deeds or writing a letter of explanation. Do you think this is a good plan or will it lead to issues? |

I think the officer in charge will still wanna know the sources of that bulky transactions into your account. I stand to be corrected. NSNominee: |

NSNominee: Don't fret please. Gift deeds are normal and legal and by itself explains the source (i.e large funds are gifts from your cousins to assist your immigration dreams). You don't need to show a 6-month "curing" period for gift deeds. It can even be on the day you submit. |

NSNominee: Read it yourself . I don’t know of PNP but for the FSW express entry the requirement is that the money is available when you apply and when entering the country . The six month requirement I know of is six months average balance which doesn’t say monthly average balance must be above the required threshold |

NSNominee:they send adr to some people this year to submit 12 months statement. So if you keep rejecting it doesn't mean they can't ask for 12 month statement. |

Philtos: Had my AOR on the 4th of Oct 2020 also, got an application status update via my email on 6th Nov, checked my EE profile and saw only change in UCI number and the progress bar appeared, no medicals nor biometric update. Hopefully by next week we should get MEP/BIL, all the best. |

Hopefulnenye: Send an email to them and also fill their webform stating the exact issue. They might tell you that will rectify is when they are done with the evaluation. Makesure you stay on their necks. If there's no solution (which i doubt) and you haven't paid or sent documents you can open another account. |

I dont have masters degree am I still qualified with this profile below Qualification: B.SC and OND Age: 27 Work experience: 3 years(just 1 year of continuous work experience,6months paid internship and NYSC are what I calculated to sum it up to 3 yrs) Sibling abroad: my sister but shes yet to get the PR,probably by next yr..I hope she can stand for me via the 15points or can her husband been my in-law stand as relative abroad, which is better. With all these I mentioned without a masters degree..do I stand a chance for the 270 score and if not what can I do to boast my chances.. Hi Guys, please I have a question. Are all the information you used to create your profile used as reference and compared with those shared post ITA? The reason for my question is that while filling my details for education, I included that I finished my masters in January 2018 because of the date on my WES evaluation report (no month was indicated on the report, just year) but on getting the certificate, it says March 2018. I have updated all info post ITA. Do you think the difference between both information will serve as misrepresentation? @ednut1 @kekerekun @mamaroon. Please help. Thank you |

My Timeline Apr 2018 - IELTS - LRWS 7.5, 9, 6.5, 8 First attempt (BC) July 2018 - WES - BSc July 2018 - CRS Score 398 Dec 2019 - Finished MBA Mar 2020 - IELTS - LRWS 9,9,7.5,7.5 Second attempt (MOD) - I used ieltsliz and ieltsonlinetests to prepare. Apr 2020 - WES Evaluation for MBA July - Got married and jumped into the pool next day CRS - 482 ITA - Aug 5 Medicals were done at Qlife Lagos, quite seamless. I booked via a phone call to the phone number on their website. We got there before 8 am and left around 11 am. PCC was at Alagbon. Wifey did one and same person affidavit at Ikoyi High Court same day. Education - I attached BSc and MBA certs and WES Marriage - I attached the wedding cert and a collage of pictures from our wedding. Employment - got reference letters from my previous and current employer - same NOC, 5+ years in total. The former did not state salary earned so I added my employment offer letter which shows the salary breakdown. Thanks to Mamaroon for helping to check how my JDs match the NOC 6235 POF - 80% in Mutual Funds and remaining in spouse's account. I attached reference letters from SIAML for the mutual funds, from spouse's bank and a simple letter from her stating that I have access to the fund in her account. I also created a word document showing a breakdown of the POF accounts, the equivalent in CAD and screenshot from XE for the conversion rate used. All put together in a single PDF file. I used icecream pdf for all merging and splitting. Saved all document and screenshots on the cloud too just in case. LOE - I did a letter explaining each document uploaded at the major placeholders and why. AOR - Aug 30 - all fees paid with a family friend's Canadian bank card. The rate was at 305 (super low - he just decided to help us) ADR - Sep 22 - Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. Had to submit my spouse's details all over again. BIL - Sep 30, completed Oct 16. I asked about visa office and application status via webform. The response came about a week later that our file was in Accra VO and that I could contact them directly if I so desire. Rude shock, but we took it with faith. PPR - Nov 9. I don't know the word to describe how I felt. I am yet to recover from it even. I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed valuable information on this thread series. You guys are heroes! miolad20: 64 Likes 6 Shares |
