Please can I change from spouse unaccompanying to spouse accompanying after ITA if spouse's eca and IELTS will still put us above the crs cut off?

This link may help: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/assessing-electronic-application-on-section-a11-2.html

IRCC will recalculate your scores based on your spouse being accompanying rather than unaccompanying; the question is will IRCC incorporate your spouse's ECA and IELTS which may have been obtained after ITA but before AOR in re-computing your CRS. I think not, based on the statement circled in red and on the assumption that spouse's ECA and IELTS were post ITA. I may be interpreting this all wrong though, perhaps it doesn't matter if ECA and IELTS were obtained after ITA, so long as they were obtained before AOR.

Having said that, this person claimed they did it - https://community.movnorth.com/t/non-accompanying-to-accompanying-spouse-after-ita-but-before-e-apr/2855/9

Its not even nice at all what we go through in this country. It is well. Lets just keep praying for the best. God will make a way.
The educational system in Nigeria needs a total reform, our government doesn’t even care. I’ve been on this thing for so long.
I began same time for myself and my husband and I have my evaluation now but we haven’t even made the slightest progress for his. Just to digress for a big I called the school they were saying even those who wrote posts utme last year are yet to resume and they’ve taken registration for those who are due to write this year. It’s not even fair on the students , I really feel for them.

Hiya.

Since it’s a masters degree that is to be evaluated, your friend can try WES. I am currently evaluating my LLB with CES. Submitted my application January 8th 2020, my transcript was received February 24th 2020 and up until now, my ECA is not ready. The only reason I considered them was cos IQAS was on break. If you have the money to request for another transcript, pls go in with CES that way you can use whichever comes out faster.

This is heartbreaking. Over 8 months.

Thanks, yea covid has changed many things, current processing time is 15 weeks ( they said they will even try to meet this ) from the day document is received. It is really frustrating. He is just scared of recent changes with CRS points,

Any OAU person in the house that used WES recently -please what is the experience like.
I used WES for Hubby's ECA in sept 2020. Transcript was sent electronically from OAU through Etx-ng to wes 10th of sept and status was updated immediately. I got the ecopy of ECA on 29th of sept 2020. No verification needed. I'll encourage you to try sending your transcript electronically if you intend using WES. It saves processing time. Though I don't know if work is going on now due to ASUU strike. You can pm me so I'll give you the contact of the person that helped with my transcript.

Please I have few questions to ask as I'm just begging the process

1) I have a BSC and OND(3yrs) which I believe can stand for me as 2 or more degrees..I'm I suppose to do Wes evaluation for both degrees or only for my BSC.. I intend using both so as to claim points for 2 or more degrees:;

2) I intend learning French to boast my score going into next yr when I intend to enter the pool; if I'm serious with the French and I use approximately 5 to 6months to prepare for it and ielts can I ace it in that period of time, any body with experience dealing with the French language, how its been done, when will u get ur result, what's the minimum score to get.how many months can one really get prepared to ace the exam and all, just anitin info would do

3) I have 3 years experience including NYSC, but just 1 continuous yrs of experience but I want to claim points for 3yrs,hope it can work..and for the case of proof of payment via the place u work..is the proof of payment via bank statement just for like 6months back or a year etc,how many months or years do de ask of from ur bank statement when applying thankss

Good plan. Also keeps tabs with the Canadian immigration news as there are rumours that some category of people have had additional 30 points on their profiles . We don’t know how true it is .

When someone lands in Canada...& does landing formalities & Stamping you become a permanent resident already (Attained PR status).
After some months the PR card get sent to u, but you are already a PR with social insurance number and access to relevant government benefits including siblings claiming points off u.

However, to claim sibling points you will normally need her PR card and Utility/rent bill in addition to proof of sibling.
Perhaps that's why the previous person said u have to wait till she gets her PR card...but again as long as she has landed n her documents stamped she is a PR. But giving after ITA one has 90 days to submit, I opine that the PR card will be ready before the 90 days elapses.
Cheers

Wow thanks,no its still far..

Nothing official yet but if you use the CRS score calculator and answer “yes” to the question that asks about having an education in Canada you’ll find that you get 60 points for having a Canadian education. It use to be 30 points but now 60. Nobody knows if it’s an error or a change . And there’s no much information about it in the public space

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile/rounds-invitations.html new changes, you can get additional 50 points for strong French language skills. Guys do private lessons if you have to. It took me a couple of months to get to intermediate level and writing TEF boosted our scores. Even getting jobs here. The knowledge is an added advantage, if you live outside of Quebec. No one expects you to be fluent.

Good evening leaders. My case is kinda peculiar and critical. I need informed and experienced information, please.

I have a one year continuous work experience - February 2019-February 2020 after university education (NOC 4031 Secondary school teacher). That's basic and solid.

However, I want to claim three years work experience through the different jobs I did while studying, during OAU strikes and breaks.

For instance, I worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant (NOC 1242) or Paralegal all through my stay in school whenever there was any break. So here and there, I have 7 months, 6 months, 6 months (all same firm) 3 months (another law firm, same NOC duties). Am I good to go claiming these?

Expert opinions pls, and I am set to enter the pool.

Hi guys, so I recently passed my ACCA exams F1-F3. The journey of 2 or more certificates has officially come to an end. I Self Studied for 2 months With ACCA Approved Textbooks and workbooks and they helped a whole lot. If you're in Lagos, PM me and I can give you the textbooks/workbooks for a token (I bought them and they were quite expensive). Let me know.

I’m interested in the answer to this because I have a similar situation and I totally excluded these experiences, I stuck to just post graduate experiences.

Hello everyone, despite my consistent practice, i am still stuck with Ielts cry cry. Please i have few questions regarding my result. Which would you advice?

1. A remark for reading/writing and wait for the outcome. Is an upgrade assured for both?
2. A remark for reading/writing and also register for another test. This is in case the first option does not come out favorable.
3. How much is MOD remark?
4. Does the remark payment apply to each of the test or it covers for both?

Listening - 8
Speaking - 7
Reading - 5.5
Writing - 6.5

Would really appreciate your responses.

I know it may seem hard to hear this, writing would and can increase to 7.0 by Gods grace, but what about reading? Even if a mistake happened somewhere do you think it can enter 7.0 from a 5.5?. Besides reading is objective and it does not change. Do not waste your money, just go and restrategize and you will get it next time around.

You need to practice more. In Reading, all you answers are in the passages - don't think of answers from your head or use synonyms. Just find the answers from the passages.

Remarking reading at 5.5 is almost a waste of 15k. You writing can still be upgraded.
