Akpoguma is not fit to be on our bench regardless of where he plays Right back, Center back or whatever. I don't understand how he played a full match yesterday despite his outragous showing from the start. Rohr is not a tactical manager, he is lucky to have good, Average and Slightly above average players to cover this but he was exposed yesterday. There is no excuse, Rohr made us throw away a 4 goal lead yesterday. Musa had no business in the starting line, It doesn't matter if your the captain or not, if you're match rusty give way for players with decent game time for club Akpoguma should never play as a Right Back for both club and Country, God, At one point he refused to mark and was just going back with the Sierra Leone winger right in front of him oblivious to the fact that he is giving the other Sierra leone forwards time to get in position, wether he dey fear make dem no dribble am i no understand but i lost it there. Why Rohr would sub in Ajayi to play CB when it was clear that the Sierra Leone players were outrunning both Etebo and Aribo in midfield is a mystery, we were losing possession in defensive midfield but rohr felt it was unimportant to do anything about it, Infact all his subs were questionable asides probably Ejuke Yesterday was certainly a day to forget, adding to pain was me losing my phone 3 Likes |

At least let me not take that aspect away from him. You and many others know I have been singing this tune for long. I've figured him out long. But there is something new I have noticed about him that a few here have also noticed. We saw in the friendlies that Akpoguma was not effective as a RB. Why not let the guy fight for a place in CB? Is Akpoguma better than Aina or Ebuehi at RB? They have all been tested there and we know the answer. And to Okoye (and other new players especially MODIFIED), let's not get carried away about European football. Your performance in Europe earns you a call up. But when you come to SE, you have to be judged by your performance in the Green White Green alone. It's either you are not good enough or the coach simply does not know how to utilize you. Someone here was still trying to excuse Rohr for the Benin disaster, tying to blame the players alone. If you are a coach and your opponent pulls 1 goal back. 2 goals and then 3, and you still cannot make changes that shows that you know what you are doing, is it the players to blame? Mujtahida: |

I just listened to Rohr interview. Osigoal is out with a shoulder injury, Dennis with ankle, and Chukweze with groin (He might recover before the next match). Balogun is fine now. He was substituted for Ajayi cos of injury. Akpoguna will start again at freetown, according to Rohr he was outstanding on friday. Lesson learnt. #Wemove. Failure is an opportunity to begin again more intelligently. |

Even if we had managed a 4-3 win I will have still abused this team. But at least if we saw Rohr make a couple changes that helped us manage a slim win, we go manage am. But those Sierra Leoneans exploited Akpoguma's wing. I don't know who the Sierra Leonean coach is, but by that single feat he has shown he is a better match reader than Rohr lol MetalJigsaw: 3 Likes |

For one thing, this team under Rohr will not be able to compete well globally. There is more science to the game at that level than just pulling a string of players and waiting for them to gel and start playing with a style. andrewbaba44: 2 Likes |

finding a solid assistant is very hard for us to do. By the time we realize it will be too late. We will have wasted years with the potential at our disposal. I don't think our players are great, but a coach that knows what he is doing can achieve a lot with this set of players. Karlovich: |

if this team go world cup commot Ndidi and Osimhen, e don finish o. Now I am seeing the importance of Ndidi to this team. But a team without good back up is spineless. elunico: |

andrewbaba44:Rohr might be below expectation but you see that your first statement, that one na VERY BIG LIE. I'm not underrating the other teams but Las Las Nigeria go still qualify for world cup from that group whether Rohr likes it or not. The only thing wey fit cause problem na that third round, but Nigeria usually takes world cup seriously. |
