Hello house.

I just passed my ielts on the 5th attempt. Definitely, I expect to get an ITA by the time the next draw will take place.

I would like to know if its possible to have my medicals done ahead, as I am trying to put together all the necessary documents and requirements before getting the ITA.

Thanks

Go to your EE profile, under Personal details, check that the amount of money you’re bringing in to Canada meets the POF requirements. You can increase it by a little

You cannot merge your student experiences that way. The only way you can merge your experience is if it is continuous for at least one year and no gap in employment.

For example - you cannot have 8months experience as a student and merge it with a 2 years and 4months experience as a graduate.

You can use student experience if it is for example the last year of your studies and it is continuous with your fulltime employment after school.

Good evening leaders. My case is kinda peculiar and critical. I need informed and experienced information, please.

I have a one year continuous work experience - February 2019-February 2020 after university education (NOC 4031 Secondary school teacher). That's basic and solid.

However, I want to claim three years work experience through the different jobs I did while studying, during OAU strikes and breaks.

For instance, I worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant (NOC 1242) or Paralegal all through my stay in school whenever there was any break. So here and there, I have 7 months, 6 months, 6 months (all same firm) 3 months (another law firm, same NOC duties). Am I good to go claiming these?

Expert opinions pls, and I am set to enter the pool.
go ahead

You are spot on! I used my experience during school and I have PPR. Countless others have done this too.

You are also spot on in regards to the One year continuous experience. Anything after that can added up to make 3 years. Even if you have to add several one month experiences.

Keep up the good work Mmamaroon. You've done amazingly well.

Mmamaroon:

grin You want to put cocaine in my pocket!

My understanding is that at a minimum you must have 1 year CONTINUOUS work experience to qualify for FSW.

If an applicant already has 1 year continuous locked down, the other months or years of work experience do not have to be continuous, if all other conditions are assumed to have been met i.e. pay, hours etc. This is my understanding....but I may be mistaken.

This NYSC is really becoming an issue...but why some people have successfully used it it is there any special thing to do for this rejection not to happen? Really curious, please help
You can use the work experience you garnered through your NYSC days but you have to be paid by the organization you worked for during those period. Most importantly though, there's no need to mention NYSC. Instead, mention the organization you worked with during those periods and provide adequate documents as per IRCC requirements. There's no one size fits all in this process, you just have to be able to express yourself succinctly. Let your application depict a clear picture of what you are and have done.

Hi everyone, please how do I handle my situation with WES saying they are waiting for my school to verify my transcript meanwhile my institution has sent in the verification. Please help, how do I go about this. People who had similar situations how did you resolve it?

@jacknn if you can see this, please don’t follow Rhuth advice. Your Bsc and OND count as 2 or more certificate

@Rhuth please I don’t mean to be rude but if you are not sure of a particular answer please DON’T respond. People’s money, time, sweat and energy goes Into these things. Imagine someone with Bsc and OND start writing Cima or Bcs only to discover it’s entirely useless after spending so much time and money.

@Jacknn YOUR BSC AND OND IS PERFECT AS 2 OR MORE CERT!!

Ooohhhh. I sincerely apologise. Didn't mean to give false info.
Thank you for the clarifications!

Good morning All.

Please someone should help me and analyze this situation. I have 3 years experience with my company (excluding NYSC)

Started Nov 6 2017 till date. (3 years)

The thing is, I work for company A(conducted interview and all) but company B pays me(contract staff). Even at that, the company B re-news our contract every year(but the contract letter clearly show period of 11 months---Reason being that Coy A doesn't want to pay some benefits).

Another thing, is that we are being moved to different Contractors, like I have been moved so far to two different ones with period of 11 months showing in each contract letter!

Below are the detailssadScreenshot attached)

Company B1: Nov 6th 2017 to Oct 5th 2018
Company B2: 21 Dec 2018 to 20 Nov 2019
Company B2(same as above): 23rd Dec 2019 to 22nd Nov 2020.

Hence, the gap!

Furthermore, there is a waiting period(probably a month or two) before a new contract will be drafted, and it is not always counted or backdated and as such, it may hamper claiming points within those gaps(We always work till it is renewed o)

Please seniors, how do you advise I should go about this.
PS: I was told by Company A that I have to get ref letter from the contractors embarassed

Please is there a WhatsApp group were people can easily communicate and share happenings in the application process? I am kind of in a confusing state while filling the CRS application. When I check if I am eligible, it says yes but when I fill I don't get a score and it doesn't show me the score either, rather it just says I'm ineligible and no longer in the pool. Could be I'm not filling the form correctly, please I need some assistance.

Writing had been my only issue. This time around, I did more practice, watched more videos and even paid someone to review my essays. I wasn't confident in my writing even during the last sitting but then I surprisingly made a 7.
