Dampops:
For those that recently submitted passports to VFS Lagos and haven’t received any notification from them ...did you include your biometric slip in the package you sent to them? Not BVL o...the slip you got when you did your biometric...

If you didn’t, it’s either you pay the N7,430 biometric transmission fee (and scan the evidence to them via email) or you scan and send the biometric slip to them via email..

Hope this helps...

Heard they won’t work on your passport and will try to contact you...(which they may not do promptly)

What’s their email address please

Good evening everyone. I am curious, is there anyone that got BVL and PPR and their school haven't been added to the list of schools with covid-19 readiness plan?

Hello house, I'm worried...

I am paper route applicant, application over 9 months (Feb 14). I have gotten AIP, Medicals and I have also uploaded my new Letter of Acceptance as requested.
I got my BVL on the 6th of this month but till now I have not received any email indicating any further update.

I remember a guy was here early last week to complain about the same thing, but I didn't know if this is the new normal. Why send BVL when you're not ready to send passport.

Meanwhile I also saw a "ghost update" on my profile this morning.

Please has anyone recently experienced this kindly advice on what to do.

Thank you

Did you try requesting a GCMS note?
If you haven’t, I think you should.

Hi everyone,

Please I need our advice. I got my Biometric Verification Letter from Nairobi on Tuesday. After which I've not received any reply on my PPR.

I submitted a paper application with my international passport. I want to know if it takes time for paper applications to get reply because I've seen several online applications get their PPR a day after BVL.

Thank you.

Hello bro, have you received any email regarding your application from IRCC, I am experiencing the same thing for the past 10 days

Is your DLI on the Covid-19 readiness list?
If not, then that could be the reason

Have been following this thread for sometimes now, in fact am really impressed with the way people tend to assist each other by providing information needed at the right time.

I want professionals in the house to help me look at my scenario, my chances of later getting PR.

Due to the fact that Canada don't accept 2.2, i intend going through PGD which is a year course, please,
will i be allowed to work during that one year course if i was given a year Visa?

what are my chances of staying back after my program, does it worth it going through this way?

Thanks.

You'll be allowed to work during studies.
You'll have only one year pgwp after completion.
You may have to extend your permit n follow up with another one year program to earn you a 3yr pgwp.
This will qualify you to apply for PR.

I hope I'm right sha.

Why are you looking the way of Diploma and not BSc? You may have to present a highly convincing SOP to the VO

Hello Alexiz031,

Most schools accept NECO in Canada. But first enquire from the DLI before advancing. You can also go ahead with the plans to rectify the error. You're on the right track.

All the best[/quote
Thank you sir

if u have a low 2.2 u can't do pgd cuz the requirement is 65 percent that means 3.25

Hi guys smiley

Newbie here, thanks a lot to everyone contributing, reading here as been quite helpful.
I submitted on the 6th November, got biometrics request on the 11th, did it @VFS Lagos on 13th.

Now my question is there a timeline for how long the biometrics will reflect on my portal (if there's anything like that). I just want to know what to expect/do next. Right now, I don't even know what my status is exactly.

Thanks a lot in advance for helping.
