Transport it down to east or west, the prize will change ... most food items from the North 're cheap, transportation is d major cause of its cost increase in the west, South and East

Why not take advantage of the price difference to make some cool money for yourself by buying it in large quantity and sell it in another State where the demand and price are high?

[quote author=moscobabs post=96134293] I always say it that if North decide to fight South, they don't need any other weapon to fight us....They should just stop sending foodstuffs to the South....na Hunger go kill us for them.

We Southerners think we are too educated to farm, our land is green with good weather and fertile but we decide to hold on to insufficient white collar jobs.

So pathetic embarassed[/quote. I Hope you are a farmer

Why not advise him to sensitise these "another states" to focus more on systemic and more productive agriculture?

Transportation cost is usually the reason most commodities prices are high

Poverty mentality. Smh.
You better work it back to Ibadan and look for something doing instead of wasting your life in that dead zone because of cheap onion.

Your type just talk anything on a public forum without doing due diligence. Do you know the hurdle in transporting the onions from bauchi..
So you know dey hear say north say they don't want to bring their agricultural yields to the south again for the main time. It seems you don't know what's going on in Nigeria as we currently speak. There are many northerners that bring this onions down south before now but because of the tribal clash that's why they have put trading activities to hurt.

Not surprised though...am aware onions is gonna be cheap over there in the north

Southerners capitalize or rather take advantage of a situation to enrich themselves at every slightest opportunity...
They increase the price of everything beyond what it is supposed to be once they notice or sense a looming situation just to make wealth...our own selfishness and quick money in this South is too much

There should be a price regulation or rather price control

So na Southerner de sell onion for market?

Bro/Sis, in case u don't know, this is deliberate action from the Northerners

No matter what or how, there must be inter- state buying and selling of different kinds of goods and services.
