BVL dropped 3.37am! July Applicant. Received AIP Sept 8th. No update afterwards. Followed @ Lekibobos hint to go ahead to do an upfront medical after waiting for an update for about 2 months after AIP. Did upfront medicals on 5th November. Profile updated with medical passed on 12th November. BVL today. No address on AIP or BVL but I also followed some suggestions here and sent a webform once to Beijing and Nairobi to enquire about the status of my application (about 2 weeks ago). 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Dameelee: Please take my advice and send it to Abuja so that you'll have peace of mind and sanity. Not that Abuja is the best but it is 100% better than Lagos. If you're not in a hurry to travel (say between now and early next month), then send to Lagos. 1 Like |

Hello good morning everyone, Please my bank statement was printed on the 10th of September and I submitted my Visa application on the 2nd of October and did my biometrics on the 16th of October. Till yesterday that I go a mail for NSE which they said if I don't submit the required documents before 17 the of December that the will go on with making decisions on application and processing it accordingly and what they required for is my bank statement again and IELTS score. so my question is hope my Visa application will not have issues or any problem because of account statement because when it is September 10th i printed it and apply October 2ñd, that means my bank statement will be 3month by 10th of December from the day I printed it hope it will have any issues and also I can send them a webform to continue my application in the normal processing. Do the Canadian embassy really call the bank to confirm the money in the account. Thanks. |

hi guys i just recieved my gcms notes. please tell me what you think. I had to type it out it was refusing to paste here. the $10000 was USD; thats about 14000 CAD 33yo married woman Nigerian woman seeking entry to Canada to obtain master’s degree in comms travel to UK in 2019, no other evidence of travel financial support: husband, 2 children under 4 yo. PA has 3 siblings, 1 in US and 2 in CDA, one of which in a SP. Proof of funds: bank statements showing consistent low balance+ large deposits. PA will obtain masters in peace studies in July, works as monitoring + evaluation associate (data quality). I am not satisfied that the course of studies is reasonable given the high cost of international study in Canada when weighed against the potential career/employment benefits and the applicant’s personal circumstances. Based on the information provided by the PA, I am not satisfied that based on factors such as family ties, financial establishment and relevant travel history, the applicant will be a genuine temporary resident who will depart CDA at the end of the authorized period of stay. Application refused. JustMellow: |

You stated that you were informed that your application would continue as usual if you do not submit the requirements for the NSE by 17th Dec, you can raise a webform but i do not see the need for that. It is your decision to choose which route you want, plus if you submitted a 4-6 months bank statement and it is not fraudulent you have nothing to worry about The embassy might send an email to the bank to confirm, which rarely happens. What they usually do is to request for an updated bank statement and give you a short time frame to deliver OBANLABAMIDELE2: |

Raalsalghul: The reference letter must corroborate that you're a bonafide employee of the organisation, your start date, annual remuneration and benefits as well as your job responsibilities and duties in the company. The letter must be properly dated and duly signed by HR of the establishment. It will end in praise |

CastedBlog: Do you've evidence of what you've been doing for the past 7 years since you last left high school? You can explain to the visa officer the activities you've been actively involved by listing some of the professional courses you've attained and provide adequate proof of existence for your social media page where you manage websites. You need more of evidence than mere statement in your case. Again, I will strongly recommend that your immediate family (parents or siblings) should stand as the sponsor to your education rather than a third party sponsor. This will improve your chances of convincing the visa officer that you will have 100% access to the funds presented in your application and would further substantiate the credibility of your intent to study in Canada. It will end in praise |

Sharonyeah: If you intend to present an MBA Forex Investment as proof of funds for your study visa application, I will advice you shouldn't use it because the Canadian visa officer's has skepticism about funds in Forex Market. As a consequence, it's much better you liquidate the money you've with the forex company and deposit it into your personal savings account. Provide written explanations as to the origin of the funds and supporting documents to further buttress the genuineness of the funds. It will end in praise 3 Likes |
