Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic 03-08, Hyundai Elantra 08, Kia Cerato, Nissan Sentra. Toyota Camry 03-06.

As to how much you can be making in a week/monthly: So many factors involved nevertheless you are going to make something reasonable enough to pay your bills and also have savings.

I can’t give you figures, sorry.

Make sure you don’t buy a problematic car because that will determine your earning; the car is your major tool.

Elders will add to it.

Regards.

In terms of ruggedness, easy maintenance, fuel economy and availability, the young man should stick to civic 03 to 05 . Preferably tokunbo ones .. And look for a good mechanic that knows what he/she is doing.. Just with most Asian cars that develop faults , it is not the car is so problematic to fix .. it is the choice of mechanics

Don’t worry brother, you will make money. Put your mind to it, you will have to work hard during your early days though. With time you will understand what works for you.

Good enough that you will be driving your own car...you should be able to save 80k in your first month. If you can start by this December it’s even better.

If one is not smart mechanics will send one back to the village, this is what I have learnt over the course of doing ride share and dealing with countless mechanics.
Some mechanic tricks drivers and car owner need to be aware and prepare for.

Go and read all the pages of this thread or you Start from year 2018 & 2019, If you can calm down to read them you will have 60% experience already. Jump gbos gbas pages. ( Nigerians don’t like reading, everything u need is written here)
The other 40% is what you will learn on d job.
BUT
If you have 1.7miliion cash I would have advised you not to buy a car for Uber business, I don’t know how long u intend drive to be able to save 1million. E-haling takes all of ur time and health if u really want to make money.
You buy a new car and someone takes u to a flooded area on 1,200 naira trip or bad roads dt ur exhaust can start leaking.
I’m not here to discourage you but I want you to think deeply. If u had a car before yes, you can convert it to Uber.

For the first time in a long time, I really enjoyed this. I honestly ignored initially 'cos of past experiences with your videos, but I had to go back because of current reviews. Apparently you listened to your viewers and you've really improved the quality of your content. Keep it up Bro. I guess I'll most likely not skip your next video.

Ghost1994:
This is the time to overhaul your car If you must travel with it for Christmas holidays. Then drive it to ensure it is in good condition before travelling with it

1) Flush your radiator water and add Radiator coolant to avoid overheating

2) Inspect your Camber Bushing Robbers at the front. They determine the stability of your steering.
3) Flush your break fluid and ensure your break Master and Servo are in good condition for active breaking system

4) Ensure that your Tyres have not expired. From the manufacturers date . You shall see 0216. This means 02nd week of 2016. Tyres expires after 4yrs.

5) Any time you enter porthole and your car seems to loose balance then your shock absorber is most likely to be bad. If there is Oil around your shock Absorber. Its likely to have gone bad. Or If your Mechanics after pressing It in, it does not come out slowly, then it needs replacement. But if it comes out very fast, they must have tampered with It by adding much air into it.

6) Asymco Break pad is known to be the best break pad but it does not come as break shoes.

7) When on speed and your Bonnet seems to vibrate, then you need to do wheel alignment but if the steering shakes, then you need wheel balancing.

cool If your car is missing fire then do the following:
A) change the plugs B) A plug coil might not be in good condition so replace it.
C) Replace your Fuel pump filter
D) Service your injectors and Nozzles using Abro Chock spray. Those who sell the injector know how to do it.

9) When driving and suddenly you notice that your steering has gone one side, it's a sign that one of your back tyres is too low.

10) Finally, as you drive and you notice your automatic gear does not change very easily. Then you need to service your gearbox oil filter. You also need to replace the gearbox oil with the right specification.
It is written on the dipstick. I wish you the best. *Compliments of the Season*

This is from a caring Safety Officer.
Thanks for this info bro smiley

Good evening bro, I have been following your comments on this thread for a while that makes me believe you have a very deep experience about been an Uber or Bolt driver.
Please bro I need your advice because I want to purchase a car that I will be using for this business, I want to know which car is best for this business and how much can I be making in a week and also in a month, please note I will be driving the car by myself. I will gladly welcome your advice bro. Thanks

Get either a 2003-2006 Camry of 4 plugs or you get a Corrola of between 2004-2007. There parts are very cheap at Ladipo and First gate Agidingbi. Even a roadside vulcanizer knows one or two about the cars above and you can never be stranded along the road.

Forget Elantra (Expensive parts) and forget that very useless plastic car called Honda civic. Infact for your sanity, avoid all HONDAS.

If you are getting a corrolla, make sure you stay in a gated house, install a car tracker and also install an alarm. Also get a comprehensive insurance. Above all, pray to God.

My Reason for these 2 Cars? Both are cheap to maintain, Corrolla is very great in fuel economy and the 2 cars rugged die.

Finally, make sure any car you are buying have all their Catalysts intact. Mechanics and Panel beaters steal it well well.

Radautoworks and Gazzuzz knows better.
