Good afternoon in this great house,

Please I need professional advice on my status

My spouse has disparity in his date of birth. WES gave a date he used in the past while his Passport has is real date.
I used the WES like that in my profile to be in the pool.
Afterwards, I created a profile for PNP. I'm praying and hopeful for selection in any of the profiles.

Please my question is what will your advice be as regards my Spouse's age disparity? Is there a way around it?

You don't need to use your new name for wes. Is your certificate not in your maiden name? go ahead and do your legal change of name and get the documents. if you are yet to get a passport I will advise you use your husband's name when you are getting it otherwise leave it until it expires. When you get ITA, Ircc will ask you for legal documents for change of name.

Please my husband has an HND and PGD. He is the secondary applicant, I only evaluated his PGD as per the higher qualification. Am I on the right path?
Will it be defined as 2 or more certificates? Or do I need to evaluate HND too?
I think you should also evaluate the HND in order to claim 2 or more. You can go ahead and contact the evaluating body to add the HND. This is based on my knowledge from reading messages on this forum. Good luck

Hi Namie....No matter the name you change to. WES will use the name on your certificate to issue your report. I am not sure if they usually add your new name (some people say that add their new name while others say that WES puts a phrase "this name differs from what is on the certificate"wink.

If your passport has not expired, you may not be able to request for another one.
Remember the newspaper publication states that all other document valid.

This is just my own 2cents, please let the experts give their opinion.

....if your hubby's work experience is NOT in Canada, it is irrelevant CRS points wise....so move all those details to personal history.

....if your hubby's work experience is in Canada, I guess it makes sense to update the single letter you have multiple times...if indeed there are 3 different placeholders for uploading docs....

A friend needs assistance as regards

She was married before like 3 years ago but hubby is late.

She’s getting married again by December and the new hubby is at AOR stage and wanted to add her.

The question is

1. Should she declared that she had been married before in the application and what document is required if she does?

2. After the marriage, can they wait for like 2months before informing IRCC of the status changes in order to arrange additional POF or it as to be immediate.

Thank you

1. I don't know if there is a question about previous marriage but if there is, she should obviously respond truthfully.
2. see below: "immediately" seems to be the operative word.....it would seem prudent to simply follow the guidance provided by IRCC.....maybe do a very small wedding and use the money for POF instead cheesy

Changes to family composition
All family members must be examined as part of the e-APR, whether they are accompanying the principal applicant or not. Family members can be added to the application at any time during the process, including after the visa is issued, but prior to obtaining permanent resident status. Applicants are instructed to inform IRCC immediately if their family composition has changed (e.g., birth of a child, marriage, divorce).

Please I will like to know if getting COPR invalidate your present Canadian visitor or student visa till you get the PR card.
Since many of us here are yet to land, it might not be the best place to get answers.
Based on what I've read in the living in canada thread, if you're already in canada when you get COPR you can just go to any of the service canada offices to do your "landing procedures" and then wait for your PR card. Once you do your landing, you're a PR whether you have received your card or not. If your friend can't wait for the card before travelling to Nig, then she can travel and then apply for a PR travel document before returning, or get someone to bring her PR card to Nig for her, or even send it by courier for her. Not sure how the PRTD is done or how long it takes (you can check IRCC website for that).
Anyway I suggest you ask your question on the living in Canada thread for better/more accurate information.

Usually it has been advised that for accompanying spouse you should answer "no" when asked if the spouse has any relevant work history, since it won't count towards points of it's not in Canada. That way they won't ask for ref letter, and you can put his work history under the personal history section.
But yes, it is right to upload the same ref letter in each of the placeholders. It feels weird but you can.
