Olayinka scored his team second goal. Kayode,, Olayinka, Balogun(On stand by) and Sanusi are the only Africans that scored in European Cups this week. Please don't ever tell me we don't have the players!

Bros, I think by now we ought to have understood that players' performances in these European leagues alone doesn't guarantee players' National team success.

It was here that we saw Henry Onyekuru scoring goals week in- week out. Paul Onuachu was making headlines, Joe Aribo was getting eye turning reviews, there was hardly a week that Chidera Ejuke's performance was not mentioned here. What of Kelvin Akpoguma? His invitation was Celebrated here like Christmas grin. Simmy Nwankwo, Josh Maja and Cyrrel Dessers nko. I can go on and on.

But Las-Las ..... undecided

Well.... I just dey look Rohr and Pinnick. angry

Akpoguma hasn't even shown that he is better than awaziem, let alone Omeruo. He has been the worst among our defenders in the Last few games and you want him to walk in our 11 because he is german

Akpoguma is next after Balogun when it concerns good defense duties.

I see people here are just as confused as the coach himself. The problem is not so much the defense but the midfield which is supposed to be the shield for the back line. They should be comfortable on the ball, hold their positions with discipline and serve as a creative outlet. The rest of the team will benefit from this.

We were discussing the defense not the midfield.

Oga Icon4s. I do understand your point but I do think Kayode and Olayinka style of play is more suited to African opposition than players like Ejuke, Onachu etc. They are both tall and fast. Rohr is just a pensioner not a coach at all. I would not blame Pinnick at all cos he never wanted to renew Rohr's contract however it was people like me that put so much pressure on him to offer Rohr a new contract. Now we are regretting it.

Rohr may not prefer them because they play in so called inferior leagues.
He does not know when and where to use his players or understand how their style
of play fits in to the opposition.
This is why they are trying to get Salisu Yusuf back as his assistant
The argument of playing in a better league is too simplistic.
I have often thought that Olayinka is underrated.
Well, with his new assistants, Rohr may change

Peter olayinka's stats haven't been so spectacular, who will he even replace?

akpoguma has been decent, better than those on the bench, it's because he plays right back that's why people are blinded to his performance. Keeping ebuehi and aina on the bench is detrimental to their performance. But defensively akpoguma has shown that he is better than they both. If ekong and akpoguma and balogun and the rest can be fighting for the cb it'll be good for ebuehi and aina.
Akpogunma better than Ebuehi and Aina defensively?my man haba,so soon you forgot Sierra Leone four goals.
