Minimum number of hours for a fulltime role, according to IRCC, is 30hrs.
@bolded...Exchange rate for POF when creating a profile
Nahh.

Btw, much as I know, the system has been designed to recognise certain exact amounts only, so putting an alternative amount won't fly.
Not when creating a profile. When submitting his documents but oh well thinking of it, it's the amount in his bank account that matters. Also in a case where you are still in the pool and they make adjustments to POF, it will affect the applicant and render the profile ineligible. Then regarding the hours, I know it's advisable to use 40 hours per week if that's the case for the applicant. As for your last part about the system, well maybe it's a new thing. Two of my friends filled in amounts higher than the stated proof of funds and they created their profile. And finally like I stated, it's good he is in the pool now as that is the most important aspect of the gist.

The first time i ever filled it, i put 40 hours and still got rejected. The only thing that I changed before being eligible was the Amount.
I applied 6 times, only thing diff the last time was the amount

Also , i have more than the POF stated , when i was inputting 14k and it didn’t work is why I reverted to the exact number
It's good you are in now. What matters now is what you have in your account. As long as POF is more than enough. You're good to go. I wish you all the very best bro. Soon enough, we will celebrate with you.

Hello People, trust we are all good.

Please how do I add Letter of explanation?

1) Do I attach and merge it with the documents (for example, merge LOE letter with Proof of relationship documents)

Or

2) Do I explain everything regarding my application on one letter and upload on the optional document part?

3) Do I also need to notarize or stamp the LOE?

Please assist. Thank you.

I doubt you can call AVO, I stand to be corrected though... Someone mentioned your last notes shows you're in OVO, do re-confirm.
The only way you can reach AVO that I know of is web form and mails. Many times, they don't respond or give generic responses

Hello sunshine, I have sent webform no response
Avo can’t be contacted on phone
My visa office is Accra and Hong Kong as secondary it is stated on the notes and prior to that when I called I was told. Ovo there on page one I guess is as a result of the phone call made it probably was directed to Ottawa call center.

Hello all, please I need some information regarding EE, I'm 27yrs, I have ND, HND and Bsc certificates, I have 4yrs work experience. My spouse is 36yrs he has Bsc, and other professional certificates with over9yrs work experience. My question is; what will the CRS be and what is our chance of making it to the selection process.

If I were a VO option 1) above would be easier for me to follow e.g. LOE for POF is in POF placeholder with other POF docs.

Having said that, other people have used option 2).

I do not think an LOE requires notarization. It's just a letter of explanation written by you, the applicant.

Hi,
If u evaluate your Bsc and HND, you will have 2 or more certificates. If ur husband evaluates his Bsc and u both score maximum in IELTS your score will be 475 (find attached)....so the key is passing IELTS as age is gracefully on ur side at 27 cheesy cheesy
Cheers

Hello all,
For instance i was doing job duties for two different jobs at the same time for the same company. How do i add this into my work experience. Do i just pick one ? Or put the two with the same year but different NOCs?
Also would i need two reference letters or one with the both job duties on it?

I received ITA in the last draw and I need your opinion filling my personal activities for the last 10years.

I have a full-time job which I have used to claim my work experience, but I have been working as a freelance writer on Upwork and Fiverr for like 4 years now and on-going. My earnings from my freelance work forms like 50% of my POF which reflects in my SOA.

Do I need to include them in my personal activities section? If yes, I'm not sure where I should enter as the Country/City.

Just a guess....

I would say YES, include them in personal history.

You could indicate "remote work" or "online" after the name of the company and update your current location as City, Country.

If you have 2 DIFFERENT jobs with the same employer, then I suppose each would have it's own JD. Pick the job with the the higher "JD to NOC duties match" for your work experience.

You would indicate the other job in your personal history. It will overlap with the one you have chosen for your work history since you do both simultaneously.

Thank you, boss. The option to choose is 'EMPLOYMENT', correct? There's no self-employed option. Under the job title, I used 'Freelance writing'

You schedule an appointment with any of the approved clinics in Lagos or Abuja. I am not sure of the one in Lagos but its IOM MHAC for Abuja. You make the payment, go for the tests and you will get a print out that same day which you will attach to your PR application. The clinic sends your results to IRCC 2-3 days after you complete your test.

Please I have a question and I need your help.

My previous place of work is closed down and the company does not exist anymore (the owner died and the family closed the business) can I still use the year spent there as a work experience?

The company had a very small staff strength but I have a junior colleague that can help with reference letter (not on a company letter head). I am concerned that IRCC may not be able to get feedback if they want to do employment verification and backgound check.

Thank you.
