Sir the point is that Company A employed me and conducted all the necessary things(interview and all). But I was given a letter for B1 for 1st year, after the first year, they (Coy A) gave me another letter for B2. Hence, I have been performing the same job role for the company A through two different contractors(B1-ended and B2-continuing till date).

I know I am getting two different ref letters from B1 and B2, but the Job roles has been exactly the same given my explanation above. How can the Job roles be presented please?

Maybe you do need the LOE after all....try and make it as easy to follow as possible.

What I still don't fully understand is, how come when you were initially employed, Company A gave you a letter with your duties which you'll be carrying out in company B1 and B2 ....but now they are declining to give you a ref letter (basically the same type of letter) with JD for EE?

Anyway, the ideal (to me) is to have have all docs from Company A. If this is impossible, absolutely impossible and you have exhausted all channels, then present what you have, add a crystal clear LOE and pray for the best.

Anyone else with this type of work arrangement? Please help!

Dear all,

Please, if I want to apply for remark of writing, do I have to wait until the TRF gets to me or I can just apply right away? I wrote with BC.

Thank you very much

Recently, a Toronto based newspaper reported that labor shortage in Canada had risen to 3.3% of the population.

Meaning there are more jobs than there are people to work.

According to them,

The labor shortage is high in the services, IT, sales, academics, healthcare, construction and oil and gas sector.

Infact,

Just in June 2020, shortly after easing lockdown, Canada economy created one million (1,000,000) new jobs...

Canada is a prosperous country.

Every sector of the economy grows at such a pace that the domestic aging population cannot keep up with.

This is the reason why the Canadian government started an immigration policy as far back as 1967.

The government simply opens the border to foreigners interested in living and working in Canada especially skilled workers like doctor, lecturer, welder, IT professionals, nurse, administrative pro, skilled banker etc.

In their multi-year immigration plan,

The Canadian government is seeking to welcome well over one million immigrants until 2021…

This translates to a better opportunity for you if you are interested in living and working in Canada.

But one thing can stand in your way!

And that is making the common mistakes that most Nigerians make when processing Canada permanent residency.

Don't make that common mistake!!

Get the step by step guide that many smart Nigerians have used to successfully relocate with their family to Canada inside this thirty (30) minutes video presentation.

From your explanation, Company A employed but you were seconded to Company B1 & subsequently B2. That means that you only need a reference letter from Company A, in your letter itemize the positions you occupied in the two companies stating the duration and Job roles. You were not employed by B1 & B2 so i don't think they can give you an employment reference letter.

The B1 and B2 are contractors(kind of outsourcing Companies) in which they always put employees after recruiting. I still perform my duties for the company A. Just that I receive salary frm the B1(then) nd B2(now). We don't know them. And Company A bluntly told me that anything pertaining to ref letter would be from B1 and B2.

This matter tire me

I understand, but they always claim that we are contracted and have nothing to do with them(as per using their letter headed paper). It has been the same position and Job role!

Hello everyone. Please I have a question and I'll love your genuine answers based on experience. I have 2 years work experience at a bank. Can I use the 1 year experience I got during service year at a polytechnic to make it 3 years? I worked majorly in the admin of one of the depts at the school. I did my MSc. in between so I didn't start my current job immediately.
Does the gap count? Can I use my 1 year experience?

Thank you.

Wow! I cannot even imagine how you feel... the wait has been so long but it will end in praise.

Yes... that page1 list of PPR stories was so helpful... It does require a bit of selfless service to do it but it is worth it... if one of the people here can do it, just like it was done on the previous parts, it will be super helpful for those on the journey.

All the best everyone
