Good morning everyone. Please I need your advice here. I have a BSc in Microbiology, one year work experience as an administrative Assistant ( NYSC). 21years of age. Please will you advice me to go to the UK for masters in International human resources management or process PR to Canada. What can I do to boost my CRS apart from French which might take long time.
I'm thinking of applying for PR from the UK after mater's but I don't know how hard that will be considering Part time job can't be counted as part of work experience.
Please advice me house process PR to Canada to just go to the UK for masters. Thank you

Okay..Since you said you had a 2.2, why not do a PG instead..If I were to advise you, why not run a French Program, if you weigh the cost of learning French and travelling to the UK, you would see that the former is better Cost-wise and Opportunity-wise(when you land in Canada)...It is either you go for PG in Canada or Learn French..This is my Opinion..You can also be working to garner maximum points for Work Experience..

canada has released increased immigration targets for the next 3 years. Get a masters from Nigeria and also a job for 2 years. If scores are not smiling then then go for French. You have age on your side

Tbh, with due respect to you sir, I beg to disagree. I won't advice anyone to stay in this country for the next two, three years; especially when he/she is already aware of this immigration level. If she has money, and I assume she does, for finishing university education at 19,20(most likely private university). I assumed because I entered school at 16 myself, OAU and I'm yet to go for NYSC sef, so we know how it works. If she has money, she should apply for either UK or Canada Student visa or even both. For the Canada Student Visa, it doesn't matter her grade for d grant of visa if a school already admitted her. All she needs is to package her application well, ensure the proof of funds and sponsorship is convincing and been able to convince the VOs that she will return to Nigeria after the Program (perspe, lol).

DESPITE the immigration plans rolled out by the Canadian Government, we can't be sure of what will happen in two, three years. Too long to predict. Noone saw Corona virus coming nor EndSARS. In conclusion, apply for the Student Visas, or go the PNP route if you r a Medical or Tech Graduate, since French irritates you.

Yes I actually also thought about schooling in Canada but I'm scared of being denied the Canadian visa. About 3 of my friends had to do to the UK instead. Must I choose something related to my previous course of study and how well can I package my application again

Thank you very much, I actually went to a Federal University plus I'm so frustrated with the current situation of Nigeria can't wait any longer. I'm also scared in the next three years after getting the targeted immigrants, getting PR to Canada might become stricter or even closed. So many things on my mind. Please can I send you an email sir please

Option A, plus its not one work Experience. Its two, Since both JD are diff.

I have a similar case, but for mine i was doing both Roles at the same time( Yes it was possible as one couldn’t function without the other) someone here advised me to pick the Job that matches most with the NOC duties.

That aside pick option A (This would probably mean you need two ref letters)

Tbh, two ref letter, from the same employer? I'm doubting this. See attachment.

Well, my brother used 2 different reference letter from the same employer and he has gotten PPR from AVO.
He is a doctor. One was for his house job period and the other for his specialty training. Same NOC but slightly different roles for the 2 positions.

Hi,

Please I just observed there is a spelling error in my name in my employment reference. Is this a problem? Can I still use the letter regardless.

Thank you.

Quick Question: about Job Reference Letter

I held two roles in my company; as an Accountant (Past role) and as a Finance Manager (Current Role) - Both combination= 3+ yrs

Option A: while filling my EE profile should I separate both roles (signifying the start and end date for both roles) or
If you are sure the two roles fall into the same NOC without need to embellish and be panicking, yes I'll say get the two reference letters.

Option B: should I just use the current role, and let my Reference Letter reflect the difference in roles.
If you think the NOCs are contestable, please just use one Reference letter reading your current role for the past 3 years.

Knowing that this is just one work experience declaration, and there will only be one placeholder per work experience declaration.

Hi everyone,

My NOC for Saskatchewan Express Entry application is 2172 - Data analyst and database administrator. I have an ECA for my Masters in Business Administration however I do not have for my BSc in Computer Science. Do I need to get an ECA for the BSc to increase my chances of success or I can proceed with the MBA alone?

Thanks in advance.

For saskatchewan PNP, I studied agric as my first degree and have a PGD in crop soil and pest management.

Do I have to apply to jobs related to exactly what I studied in school?

I worked more as an agricultural representative.

NOC 2123, Agricultural representatives,
consultants and specialists,

2 – Natural and applied sciences and related
occupations

A - occupations that requires a university
education.

Also think in of applying to

NOC 8431 General farm worker,

C – Occupations usually require secondary
school and/or occupation-specific training.

8 – Natural resources, agriculture and related
production occupations

1.I don't know which to go for. The NOC 2123 stated for Natural and applied sciences and related occupations while the 8431 is for Natural resources, agriculture and related production occupations.

2. Also my job experience does not directly relate to my course of study, though I offers agric representative/extension courses in school first degree.

Just send a mail to Qlife. Send it on a working day, and around 10am in the morning. You will get a quick reply. Propose dates, and they will tell you the available dates. For Qlife, you pay when you get there. Seems IOM is closed for upfront medicals for the year.

Yes, definitely. Anybody can apply inasmuch as you have the requisite work experience, at least one year.
