I have a very big problem here.
I have been at home for close to 3 years now and i am loosing hope daily. I feel worthless. I graduated since 2012, then i traveled abroad and returned in 2015, then i did all my clearance and all and got my statement of result from uniben which read 2012.

However while registering at NYSC portal in 2017, i realized they made errors such as wrong names,wrong date of graduation. I graduated when i was 26 but nysc portal says i graduated in 2017,i have done everything possible,wrote student affairs,submitted copies of documents to back my claim,greased the palms of the stupid staffs at student affairs for my complaint to be posted to abuja,but even after that no difference.

I am really frustrated and i feel someone is after me why was it when it got to my turn,the idiot person feeding the computer at student affairs entered my details all wrong,right from my names to date of graduation.

Please who can help me out, i am eligible for service cos i graduated at 26,now till now they are telling me to take exemption letter with the error like that on the exemption.

I do not want it, it is not my portion..

i want to serve. please help me

There's nothing wrong in not serving. The load you put on yourself is going to wear you down

Serving one's father land is a nice experience but not everyone is destined for that. I know of someone who turned 30 that same year he graduated and so he couldn't go for service. The dude is doing well and happy even before the expiration of that service year while the so called kopas then including I myself are finding it difficult to survive.
Baba don't be frustrated, go and enjoy life. Use that 1 year to achieve something that'll change your story.

Many ex kopas are ready to trade their nysc certificates for a ransome so free your mind abeg

If the corrections will be made on the exemption letter, please take it. If it wont, then dont settle for that. What is most important is that your details are in order.

Why must you serve anyway? You just want to throw a year of your life away? Or you just want to serve to pepper them on your whatsapp status and on IG?

I dont even know the kind of advice to give because you might have tried all possible ways to get it solved. But i dont know if you can try this, if 'norm' is not working, maybe this is the time to go abnormal. Go cause a scene at the senate building, let the V.C be aware of your presence...the V.C might summon you to know the cause of the scene....it might sway in any direction.

If this is what is making you feel frustrated then I'd have to say you have no reason to worry.
1 year that could have been wasted doing NYSC can now be put to building yourself and attain more value.
NYSC means absolutely nothing,unless you want to be a public servant.

I don't know how you will feel with my advice but left for me, you should collect exemption letter. Focus on finding means of making money. NYSC is a waste of precious time

Correct those errors but you can still choose not to serve

Those who have served,how has it help them in anyway?? You better take exemption letter and go do something better with your life.

Go and learn work for one year instead of serving nigeria,it will profit u more. I know what am saying.

You already created a metal boundry for yourself by saying you must do NYSC. Remove that NYSC Vail from your eyes so you can see clear. Many graduates today still drop their NYSC certs and degrees to hustle like they are drop outs. Bros problem no dey finish for the country, just focus on using the available tools around you to develope yourself and build wealth.

See u. You are thinking much about paper and Nysc when u should be using your abroad experience and all to explore in life and be a greater person. Even those with 1st class and correct paper everything are still struggling to stand.
Anyways i give advise freely because i don't use them
