Has anyone encounter an issue with his or her birth certificate in getting a job in UK, my birth certificate has 3 name, but my documents has just my first name and surname, how do I tackle this problem, as my would be employer listed birth certificate as one of the document I need to submit

Some people have four names but may decide to use only one. As long as the name you use is on your birth certificate and passport then you don’t have to worry about it.

Hello guys, Good day.

Am still on 14days self Isolation, Isolating at west Midland.

I have some documents to waybill to London registration before some of these documents expires come after 31st December.

How can I go about waybilling this documents to London while am still on isolation.

Any means available for me to do that?

Thanks you mama,
I don't have any issue with my passport/ BRP and other documents as they all have just my first name and surname. The issue here is that my birth certificate has my middle name and I have never used the name ever before in any of my documents, now if I tender this to my employer will it not contradict with the name maintained on my documents.
Mamatukwas:

As long as both names also appear on your birth certificate I don’t see why this should be a problem. Has anybody complained?

Your employer can read. You don’t have to use all the names on your BC on every document. The guy everyone knows as Boris Johnson was born Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, but is mostly referred to as only 2 of those 5 names.

They are absolute trash. I’m taking them to the ombudsman.

Let me even give you people the gist.

I had to roam my sim cos I was expecting calls from UK, so I paid for 30 minutes to use while in Nigeria. Na so I reach Naija, I was making calls to my bank, bae and mother-in-law back in UK.

I was enjoying myself while waiting for 30 mins to finish, I no get alert. Only for me to want to check my EE app and saw bill of £230. I just laughed- It gats be joke. These people use their full chest to charge me £300. Apparently, the calls were per minute, so 2seconds flash counted as 1 min.

I didn’t talk, I got back, called EE and asked them how far. They say it’s my bill, I said na lie. That why didn’t they notify me, that it goes against fairness and transparency. They said it’s my business, that I should have checked the app. I now asked them if they gave me mobile data or stop watch.

I reminded them that it goes against consumer act (fairness and transparency), that they can’t charge me for what I wasn’t notified of, because it then becomes hidden charges; that’s why bank always notify you when you enter overdraft- they won’t just keep quiet and charge you interest.

I just dey here dey wait outcome grin
I like trouble sha

Was a victim of o2 sim. Was sleeping jejely b4 they called me to take sim only contact of £8 monthly. I was making free calls of Lyca to Lyca na Lebara to Lebara without any issue. After taking o2 sim contract, i was calling friend that also uses o2 sim thinking is a free call on my package. At the end of the month, I saw a bill of £180. I refused not to pay it, they suspended my outgoing calls, SMS & data. I was told it was my responsibility not to exceed my monthly minutes and that my package does not allow free o2 to o2 calls. I just chill and pay off the money and beg them just to cancel my contract and anything with them. Na do I japa ooo

Each city might be different so google would be able to provide you more information . Search based on the city

For London
Folded : You can take folded cycles anywhere, at any time on all our transport services. For buses, the driver can decide to not let you travel if it's too busy.

Non folded: has several restriction such as on weekdays non-folded bikes cannot be taken on any train. 07:30 - 09:30 or 16:00 - 19: 00, except public holidays

Good evening Everyone.

Please I am in a bit of an unfortunate situation and will need help from anybody.
My international passport got lost upon my arrival into the UK and its been hell for me ever since. I have tried looking for it to no avail.
I have made efforts to get a replacement from the Nigeria High Commission UK but thats been a story on its own.
Please if anybody can help me with any contact in Nigeria High commission so I can get an appointment ( I have paid for replacement of lost passport and I'm told to wait 3 weeks to get a date)
I dont have 3 weeks to wait, i havent been able to get my BRP card because of this and even open an account and other things.

Please no insults. The pain and guilt I'm having is enough, I'm depressed already.

Kindly help a sister. My Job is at stake too.

Thank you.

Hello Fam,

Please I need GBP, I can’t buy PTA because of FX unavailability in nigeria and my ticket is One-way.

For people that travelled from Nigeria recently, how did you get it? Or is there anyone here that sells at good rate ?

Please help me
