Mmamaroon: Okay it’s in regards to reference letter for the two noc, can it be one reference letter and I’m confused on how to draft this. My principal asked me draft a sample and he will follow the format. Please can you assist me with any drafts? You are very knowledgeable on this whole process, I really need help. I don’t even mind if it’s consultations please..I just go ITA in the last draw and I’ll want to submit as soon as possible. |

sihamey: There is no age limit. Anyone can apply. The only down side is that from age 30, you loose 5 points whenever you celebrate your birthday. How old is your spouse? If she is younger then it makes sense for her to be t principal applicant. Do you know French? You can get up to 70 extra points by passing the French exam (TEF). |

Hello great people in the house! Please, I wan to know if there is any organization in Canada that give 15% interest monthly when you deposit your money with them. I mean "I am planning to deposit money to any genuine financial organization that will be paying me interest base on the money I deposit with them" Is such arrangement possible in Canada? Please great people, clarify me on it. Thanks in advance! |

PLEASE does anyone know if it is possible to change the fees to be paid. On my page it is showing the fees for the application and the right of permanent residence but I do not want to pay for the right of residence fee, I want to pay for only the application fee. |

Daboll: A sample reference letter is on page 1. The 5th post under sample documents. Link below: https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/34#63131997 Regarding your duties, write what you do in bullet points and cross check with your NOC to be certain they match. Do not cut and paste the NOC from the website. You can have your employer write two separate letters for the NOCs OR present the two NOCs in separate sections of a single letter. Good luck! 6 Likes 1 Share |

WES ON EVALUATION OF ICAN Hi everyone looking to evaluate their ICAN ACA using WES. I thought I share this here because before I did my evaluation there was a lot of confusing information on if I should send my ICAN ACA to WES for evaluation or if I should send only ATS. I eventually sent both after I saw the below. From what I have learnt, ICAN ACA is evaluated favorably with the equivalent in Canada being a bachelor’s degree (Bsc) of three years. My take away from what I read on this thread is that rather than select Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) when filling out your WES application, select “Associate of the Institute”, this is very important to get a favorable evaluation. This will put you under the category of two or more certificates or diploma. Although I am still expecting my evaluation from WES, the below thread and attached image confirms this is true. Good luck to every ICAN holder looking to evaluate their ACA https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/69#59974219 1 Share

Rhuth:Hi, Yes, they will ask for his canadian passport and utility bill to proof his residency when u want to submit ur application after ITA. He may be unwilling to provide such as everyone is careful these days....best to answer no except he already agreed to provide same. Some applicants had to remove their relatives after ITA as they were unable to get the required documents. Cheers |

clow: You may have to decline your ITA and stay back in the pool actively to enable your edit and profile and stand the chance at the next draw. I sincerely hope your scores are already high to take such a risk. Well the greatest risk would be misinterpretation which could have severe consequences. I know some one as well who simply declined to start all over again 1 Like |

Hi, NOC 1123 is not on the list but I understand that some of the roles played are closely related. You can list them out and compare, or better still have a conversation with your HR on writing the letter as you need. clow: 1 Like |

ednut1:I’m looking forward to what my evaluation would be, I guess I’ll know in 3 months or so as I submitted today. By my understanding I’ll think the new syllabus will be more relevant because Nigeria adopted the same reporting standard as Canada (IFRS) but it can only be what it is, I’ll see what the evaluation comes out as. |

clow: It's not clear why you want to change your pre-ITA NOC, especially if that NOC matches your job description. Remember you are matching job duties not job title. If you are 100% certain you want to change though, then see here, shouldn't be a big deal: https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/60#94155376 |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by rosepetraaa: 9:49pm On Dec 13, 2020 |
clow: You can change your NOC after ITA. The NOC i used when I got ITA isn't the NOC I used to submit my application. You'll need to include the reason you changed your NOC in your LOE to the visa officer. Be compelling and prove you know what you're talking about and that the newer NOC is a better fit for you. The most important thing is to match your duties with the NOC of your choice. Look at the duties carefully, the lead statement must match 100% and then you must be doing 70 to 80% of the listed duties 1 Like 1 Share |
