Be careful what you believe Sha, what if the diagnostician guy is a fake soldier? I don't know oo but for a soldier on operation in one of the least developed part of a poorly developed state, his network connection is better than many of those living in major cities.

If true, then why does it seem as if the transponder was switched on within the search location.

What is the significance of US sending the same aircraft Nigeria has to aid the airforce? And just one unit for that matter. Don't they have more capable platforms?.
But then it is very unlinked NAF to switch in transponders of their aircrafts.
It is possible it is US aircraft but then what purpose does it serve? Unless Nigeria's own of same capability is currently not functional.

Shekau has released an audio claiming responsibility for the kidnapping of the kankara boys.
I personally believe he is either chasing clout or this point to the use of satellite cells in locations outside the northeast to use kidnap for random to generate revenue for JAS.
Either way, hopes are high that the students will be released either by a rescue operation or through negotiations.

17 has been released via negotiations..
Although it is likely that SF might still conduct Rescue as they are already on ground and put on hold.. it may not really be easy to rescue those boys
1. we're talking 300+ that's alot we need extra care to avoid collateral damage.
2.Bandits are likely frightened already due to heavy military presence and Flyover by NAF they may either give up the boys or do something stupid..
But I pray those boys be out soon

If this is the case, only DSS has the capability to sort these kidnapping business out, they should play the lead role for other security agencies.

Start by questioning victims who got their freedoms back after paying ransom. Ask for everything and anything that could be used, things like the sizes of the cells/gangs, languages spoken, how they communicated their demands to the family of the victims, how the ransom was paid, things the abductors talked about, any names or aliases mentioned, the location of the exchange of cash was involved. From the location of the exchange, they can then examine the communities around the location (especially those use frequently), visit such communities to ask for leads, if they don't want to cooperate, some minors should be kidnapped secretly by security agents and the parents should be reached, the terms for releasing the kids is information. The criminals in the communities should be interrogated(every community has criminals or potential criminals) they will definitely get leads if they do these.
The only thing that can reduce kidnapping currently is a relentless manhunt for people benefiting from it and only an intelligence agency can lead such operations. Without this, omo, na everyone of us dem go kidnap ooooo. It is currently the most lucrative crime in Nigeria and as long as the risk involved are very minimal and people keep paying ransom, it will keep expanding.

The honest brutal truth is that only negotiations can secure the freedom of the 300 kids, attempting a rescue operation of 300 hostages is very stupid and will most likely end in catastrophic failure. Government should accept the demands of these people and learn to be proactive next time. 300 armed bandits didn't just materialize out of thin air at the school. These guys must have been planning this for weeks, getting logistics and weapons, they transported themselves to the location. They could have been nabbed while doing all these and the embarrassment could have been prevented.

They are actually bandits though they use terror tactics, their end game isn't religious, it is wealth and influence. Zamfara and Katsina state governments know them and have negotiated with some of them in the past sef.
The abduction of some police officers around June was a revenge attack by Alhaji Adamu Alero, a bandit from Zamfara who has reportedly repented and forgiven in Zamfara state and he has even helped Zamfara state government to eliminate other bandits but he is still a wanted criminal in Katsina. The revenge attack was in response to the arrest of his son in Katsina, he declared war on Katsina communities and has since killed over 70 civilians and 3 chieftains.
He operates from Munhaye to Katsina. Several other bandits from across the northwest are assisting him to unleash mayhem until he gets his son back. These explains the increase in the frequency of attacks on Katsina since then.

Shekau is desperate seeking media attention. Though in the past he has proposed alliance with some of these bandits, this is not bokoharam's operation.

They are losing cohesion, many of the boys initially captured have escaped and they also decided to let some go because of the difficulty of the terrain.

ISR should be deployed to comb the forest some boys possibly will still be out there

There are reports that while the bandits were negotiating with governments, they were also negotiating with Bokoharam and ISWAP and that Shekau's faction won the bid. If true, the only hope left is to ensure that the kids are not taken out of where they've been cited, the area should be surrounded...... That's if they are still there though.

It was not Hypothetical the German Pilot actually said it.
It is much easier for some Nigerians to criticize and blast our own Soldiers and Pilots .
It goes without saying the same people would praise other Countries Soldiers.
One day this Bh insurgency will end.

I was talking hypothetically.

What was the exact verbatim comments of this individual German pilot and what was his rank.

Without the exact comments we are talking wind and fresh air.

The next thing is rank as an indicator of competence. Is he a Flieger ( private) or a very senior lieutenant general in the LUFTWAFFE.

Can l ask what was said specifically because you have made a clear deduction, l have not.
