I think it is the airline. But I'm yet to confirm. One just need to be on the safer side.

That's exactly my problem.

Is it airline that's requesting?

Cos i'm flying Emirates not Ethiopian

why is everyone emphasizing on 2_1 2_2 grade for PGD and co... all of this doesnt matter as long as one can defend his/her case well.. i mean show a career progress...

i know quite a number of people with 2_1 and so called strong 2_1 who got TRV for PGD course...
Yes u are right,

Interestingly, this can be likened to a First Class student who applied for an Ordinary Diploma.

Its now left for the Visa Officer (VO) to decide if the reasons for going for a ordinary diploma is cogent enough, cos the VO do make decisions based on their discretion.

This scenerio of a 2.1applicant going for a PGD/PG.Cert has been addressed here

Most airlines to my knowledge don’t ask for these stuffs, it’s the border officers here in Nigeria and the ones you will meet at Toronto that may disturb you for all these documents.
I called KLM to confirm if a COVID test is required and they said no, but it’s mandatory to wear a face mask and change it every 3hours

I be wan ask a question oo

Something dey confuse me for here

There are two Visa Stamps on my Eagle

FIRST PAGE is CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE, some contents were cancelled with dark ink, while some were left e.g Date of Issue, Issued at, Category, No of entries etc.

SECOND PAGE is clean but noticed some of the contents were quite different from the first page

Saw two years in the first page e.g 6/10/2020 to 28/9/2022, Multiple

Saw One year in the second page e.g 14/11/2020 to 29/11/2021, Multiple

What does this signify?

What does MULTIPLE mean?

Thanks

Multiple there means MULTIPLE ENTRY, meaning within that one year of study if you decide to visit another country or your home country during scheduled break, you don't need to reapply for a new visa, just pay your flight ticket, this visa covers you for 1year

Hello Pseermuhel,

If I were you, I would print this email conversation with my Uni and have it handy with my letter of acceptance (admission letter). I used Ethiopian airline and I wasn’t asked for enrollment letter. Although, I know it could be different for different people. If your school already said you can’t get one, then there’s not much you can do.

Best wishes
Pseermuhel:
Still on the Ethiopian airline stuff. Is there a need for Enrollment Letter becuase I don't have that yet. My school said I have to resume before I can register and get it.

Please I need help on this.

Thank you.

Resend both your e-medical slip along with the medical request you got using either the webforms or any of the Nairobi email addresses.
That's what I did back then, and the pray that God touches their hearts to update as soon as possible.
All the best

Please I’m yet to be updated that my medical has been passed since lastweek. Do I need to send them a mail regarding that and could you please share me the template you used in sending the mail. Thank you

The visa on the renewed passport is the exact duration of your visa and can be extended within Canada. Multiple simply implies that you can travel to and from of Canada throughout the duration of your visa.

Okay. So today I got my TRV. I used a Lagos address for the courier delivery, but I came down to Lagos yesterday, called UPS customer service and got the Rider on phone. Had to block him at Lawanson all the way from Ikosi ketu.
It's exactly 10 months today that I submitted my application at Vfs lagos. It was trying!
But it's worth the wait. Did I see someone saying he won't reapply because they refused him even with full funding? They will approve your 2nd application, that's usually the way it's done. I was also denied on my 1st application, and I was even partially funded and none of the refusal concerns was about finance. Ask around, you will get the right information specific about your case, as there are no 2 same application.

From Lagos to the world!!!

Lekiboboe:

Hi,

Let me assume you are a Graduate (B.SC/B.A or HND)

Have you gotten Admission?

If NO,

1) First thing you should do is to apply for a Program in a Skool (DLI - Designated Learning Institute in Canada) that offers PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit), the Admission letter you get is part of the documents you gonna use to apply for a Study Visa

In applying for a Skool,
Make sure you show Career/Academic/Logical Progression most especially your Degree/Work Experience should be resonating with the Program you are going for.

So for instance,
If you studied Microbiology & you are going for Accounting , that's a Very Wrong Career Progression, but if you have years of Work Experience in Accounting even though you studied Microbiology, you can still go for it.

also,
note that you can't just apply for any program

U also gotta show Progression in the qualification of Program you are going for
e.g
- B.SC grad (2.1) going for a Masters
- B.SC grad (2.2) & HND graduate going for a PGD/PG. Cert/ Post Baccalaureate Diploma
- M.SC grad going for PH.D

If you have a 2.1 and you want to go for a PG. Cert, endeavor to show cogent reasons in a convincing manner in your SOP why you are going for a PG. Cert instead of a Masters Degree.

You can state your Course of Study, your grade, members in House might be able to suggest a Program you can go for that relates to either your Degree or Work Experience

2) Financial Readiness is very very important
- You need to have enough money that's gonna cater for your tuition (like $14,000CAD upward , depending on the tuition amount of the program) & compulsory One-year living Expenses ($10,00 CAD).

If you are to make use of a Sponsor, it should be either your Mum, Dad, Sibling or Uncle/Aunty who you bear same surname with and have known you way back in time & your Sponsor should have enough money to the extent he/she will still have substantial amount of money in his/her account even after sponsoring you

Also, both parties should avoid any form of Lump sum of Money in their Accounts

3) Show Strong Ties to Home country I.e things that can compel u to come back to Nigeria after your Studies e.g Your Parents, Wife/Husband & Kids (If Married), Landed Properties, Job, Position etc.

Bro I have a 2.2 in Biochemistry, I’m working towards serving in a food company for my NYSC program hence I’m applying for food science or something related! Now here’s my question since I can’t apply into an MSc program, can I apply for either PGD, PGcert or Advance diploma? Cos I usually see these three all the time.

Also, what are the chances of getting the visa and also, what reason will I give in my SOP? Thanks in anticipation.

To anyone that wants to give up, I am begging you not to. Believe me, I can understand the mental torture these applications can give someone.

I am so thankful, I just received my PPR. It feels like I am just breathing well for the first time in months.

I also received the NSE letter, but I submitted only the my Bank statement certificate. In the case of the IELTS, I forwarded them a letter explaining how it was not possible for me to do the exam and get a result before the timeline and attached a waiver letter/mail from my DLI. Please note that this was just my case and I’m not declaring it as Avenue to bypass the IELTS requirement but it is an option in an extreme case.

I got my upfront medical uploaded in a few days by bombarding any and all international IRCC mails I could find. I did this as well as the option of waiting for them to pick my web forms

I want to thank you all for the relevant information. God bless you

Now, onto the passport submission phase.
I would really appreciate any and all information I can get on this. The only thing I know at this point is avoid Lagos vfs.

Hi!
I already sent you a DM. Please, kindly help me with some information.

It depends on if the bank your sponsor uses is amongst the banks what you will do let him go to the the bank explain to the customer service that he needs the mybank statement certificate now this is how it works the bank will send a one year bank statement to the embassy directly from their system there in the bank immediately a ticket ID and passcode will be generated they will print it out then that's what you will upload to your IRCC Portal where is being requested you have to print yours and your sponsor merge in one document as pdf and upload and send.Hope it helps
What bank do you and your sponsor uses.I know for Access, FCMB and GTB bank
