If we paid for their release there’ll be more kidnapping. Since military and police are stretched, and all schools in the north east cannot be guarded, deterrent, by doing all it takes to track down those that have kidnapped on this scale, and eliminating them, might be the key.

Specialising on eliminating individuals involved in kidnapping on this scale requires secrete services, something we apparently do not have.

Thank God the boys are back. Time to do a detailed analysis of what went wrong, who did what(Aiding & abating the kidnap), how they were moved, response time of the first responders, and how this can be put to a stop permanently or at the very least make such kidnap extremely difficult.
IMO I think ransom was paid, I hope the monies used were marked or a counterfeit because in the long run if we keep towing the path of paying ransom we stand a risk of encouraging the style of kidnapping were vulnerable kids are targeted for cash which is usually used to buy military grade munitions in the black market.
Since we have gotten our boys back, this is the time to double up on intels and round up those kidnappers yes it's possible to get them since Miyetti Allah negotiated the release of the boys on behalf of FG there is a high possiblity that those criminals/terrorists are members of Miyetti Allah and the organisation knows most of the bandits that took those boys. Hopefully the security agencies especially the DSS and co will wake up to their duties and responsibilities and more importantly resist the urge to be used in chasing petty rivals of politicians etc They have alot of work to do as Nigeria have a lot of ungoverned spaces which are havens for bandits, terrorists, criminals etc. It is not when things have gone sour we will start calling in the army.

This terrorist knew the boys where going to be released after negotiations and Shekau is already boasting and claiming the abduction of the kids.
And the top military hierarchy wouldn't at least give us a tip of how those kids where rescued ?

For the fact that they were released on time shows bokoharam didn't get hands on them.
Everything was just propaganda from shekau's side

The Northerners ain't ready to quash this recent banditry in the Northwest. This is how they kept quiet during the BH uprising.

They don't know what they are doing to their region until it goes haywire cool

It is already spreading to other regions as well, especially South West. The rate of farmer murders has drastically increased.

There is no doubt that BH had contact with the bandits, but saying they carried out the attack and are in custody of the boys is what I called propaganda.

It’s going to stretch credulity convincing anyone that military, presidency, police – essentially those in charge on behalf of our nation on this matter – do not now know these kidnapers or their whereabouts.

First this

https://www.nairaland.com/6319455/gunmen-kidnapped-katsina-students-miyetti

Then the governor confirming ongoing negotiations with miyetti Allah

Then the kidnapped boys REALEASED(no source has stated there was a rescue operation till now)

Then the Governor confirming that indeed miyetti Allah handled the negotiations.

This is where this matter ends. Like it or not......... Those involved will NEVER answer to their crimes....... Mostly because of WHO they are

Please enough with the bandits nonsense. Boko haram terrorist not “bandits” released a video showing captured kids.
