It's actually not that bad for real. Nairaland is full of loud hateful bigots from all tribes. This is their only avenue to spew hate anonymously and satisfy their sadistic urges. This is however not the real narrative out there. The majority in the real world are more sane and have little to no time for such negativity.

The hatred you are seeing on Nairaland is not real. For me its more of yabis as I know Igbos don't hate Yorubas, just as the ordinary Yoruba folks are very accommodating and bear no ill towards anyone. I think its just mutual distrust that the two groups have for each other.
Nigeria will truly be rescued from its current state of affairs, the day the SW and SE put aside their differences and work for the common good of all as you correctly pointed out.

The truth is that majority of those claiming to be from the East and spewing hate against the West are not really from the East. It's all a tactic by the north to malign the east and the west and cause bad blood between then.

A country with 5millions of its inhabitants, dwelling in IDP (Internally Displaced people) camps all over the land for years and unable to return to their homeland whilst about 100k, are in adjoining ountries like Niger, Chad and Cameroon, and you still believe, there's not already war in such a country?

We are at WAR and the govt is unable and unwilling to protect us. So, it's either we die fighting or the same fate that befell the rjce farmers, awaits us all in the country.
