Hello house, please I need urgent help for my sister,is there any way of renewing passport before Jan 31,visa is expiring soon and she needs to renew her passport and visa, any idea on how she can renew it speedily.please help!home office closed on the day of her appointment. |

Not sure exactly where on this page but someone applied with an expired passport. UKVI is surely aware of the situation and difficulty of passport renewal so your sister wouldn't be refused for submitting one. Cherrymia: 2 Likes |

Hi Guys, When traveling from Nigeria with a baby, do you get the exemption to carry your baby food and drink in his baby bag or will those immigration guys reject it. Traveling with a baby for the first time. I want to believe a baby should have access to his stuffs, but you know Naija like to make one angry, I am trying to avoid that. If possible what best to pack aside diapers. Please people with experience help. Thanks and Regards |

Aprokodaughter: Sadly, I don't. I was hoping I may be interviewed over Skype but I don't know how it works over there. I realised social care job isn't a professional job and employers wouldn't go through the hassle of employing a person in a foreign country when positions can be filled by Brits or unemployed immigrants. 1 Like |

Chreze: Yes it was allowed normally but this covid times I cant say for sure of there any changes since I havent travelled But typically in the past, you are allowed to go even with a full flask for water for baby food or any other liquid needed for under 2 years |
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by wallg123: 10:03am On Dec 25, 2020 |
Chreze: Depend on what you call baby food. If it’s baby powder milk/ formula, it’s ok as you will have to make the bottles on the plane. However everything thing would have to go through security scan as per standard international practice. My wife came to Nigeria with my then 5months on child when I was in Nigeria on family emergency and came with all the baby stuff and there was no issue on entry or departure.... I don’t expect Nigerian immigration officials to worry you but never say never in Nigeria Goodluck |

You are allowed an additional bag for the baby...in it you can carry your baby food and stuff. Immigration shouldn't disturb you for this. Check your airline luggage allowance for an infant (less than 2 year olds). Chreze: |
