Cuppymummy:

You made my stomach churn, reading your comments because they're all based on lies born out of jealousy. I never expected this kind of behaviour from you. You are so wrong my dear.

Blendy77 is one of the pioneer members of this thread, someone I personally contacted online when depression wanted to finish me. I needed to meet this woman I had been following that was unrelenting, despite the ttc challenges, until she got her miracle. I needed her kind of faith.

Another thing that amazed me was that she didn't abandon the group despite the fact that she had got her miracle more than 7 years ago. She keeps coming back to encourage others.

Her gift of generosity and helping people is praise-worthy. She has touched many lives. My Sister, you and I and everyone of us should pray for the grace and means to emulate rather than hate.

Your accusations are false. Search yourself. What's your reward for carrying out a smear campaign to tarnish Blendy's image?

Mummy4life1, to escape Karma, you need to analyze your motives, admit you were wrong, apologize and retract your statement. You know God doesn't like it when people accuse others falsely.

God bless you!
God bless you sister, this captures what Blendy77 has stood for all these years. Some of you don't know that this forum is more like a family now. I can tell you authoritatively that i have met so many of my sisters here in real life, others we communicate through other media apart from here.
I wouldn't want someone to make some unfounded allegations thereby derailing this thread, God has been helping so many through this thread please we shouldn't allow the devil to do anything that will degenerate to name-callings and all that.
For the fact that we the 'old members" don't post here so often doesn't mean we don't come in to know what is happening here, Please let the argument and name-callings stop forthwith, if there is anything you don't understand ask questions politely.
Anybody i refer to Fertilaid i will always ask the person to go tell the doctor she is from me, and the doctor has been giving them discount for my sake and I DONT GET ANY COMMISSION from the doctor, The highest is a phone call of the outcome of the treatment mostly from the person(s) i referred to the place. I can remember how someone also accused me of this some years back, Lol.
I know God will soon visit all of us and give us testimonies, remember: WHAT GOD CANNOT DO, DOES NOT EXIST.
Yea, the Generals clocked 7 in October, just like yesterday. God stepped in for us on the 5th cycle ( for some of you who may not have known), they are worth the wait.
Oviasouth got a very cute boy in her second 'missionary' journey (after she got twin boys in the previous cycle). God is still faithful to us. Let us still keep praying and supporting one another. We all await your testimonies. God bless you all.

Good evening everyone, in have been following this thread as far back as 2013, from TTC group to here, which everyone will test that this two groups has a bound. I have been following @blendy77 all her comments and encouragements here, she never ask for anything from women but moves extra miles to make research from different hospitals and came back here with a benefitting results.
I don't see anything bad in having a WhatsApp group because it will give those in that group strength of interacting with each other as a blood without reserve. I didn't know about the WhatsApp group till now if I had known would have since asked to be added.
This TTC journey is a rollercoaster and strong enough to make someone mad. Since I started following this thread I haven't made up to 10 posts or even reply to comments because this journey made me personally weak. This journey is not a journey one goes alone we need each other as backbone not breakdown.
This WhatsApp issue should not be what we will use as an end of the party in this thread. My prayer is that everyone that are having their cycles this month and beyond will have a successful BFP. This thread will flood with a lot BFP come next year.

My beloved sister, God Has been truly faithful. we thank God for giving us this platform to share ideas and some challenges and how to weather the storm (BFNs) that some of us had. Today we can look back ( to the journey of 5cycles and 7cycles that we went through) and be happy with the way the children are growing. I saw the recent pictures of your boys on your WhatsApp updates, they are growing so fast. God will continue to bless us all.
Please, let us move on and allow God to have His way on this thread, we will keep celebrating God's faithfulness on this thread. Shallom.

Thank you sir.... While I can't hold them responsible for the result we got, I can still hold them responsible for not telling us some important information we needed to know. If we had known the outcome of the embryos on time, we might have cancelled the cycle.

We went through almost every page on this thread and researched more before we settled for IVF and the hospital and we had questions handy. We asked lot of them but couldn't ask the important ones due to the way things are structured.

Even if they don't tell you everything without being asked. One has the right to know these regardless of asking them or not : the number of follicles retrieved and the outcome of fertilisation before transfer. Especially if it turned out to not be too good

Till now I still don't know the number of my follicles retrieved. The morning before the transfer, we asked to know the number of good embryos we had no one gave us answer.
I got the answer while I was on the table (just when he was about to do the transfer) If we had known earlier we might have cancelled the cycle.

After waking up from the retrieval procedure, you will be attended to by the nurses who don't have answers to your questions. The pain is always much you just want to go home and relax. If you call the hospital help desk, a nurse/receptionist will pick up and they won't have answers to your questions.

The best thing would have been to call us or text us about the number of follicle retrieved and if we would like to freeze if we have extra best grade embryos. We were worried of being in the dark that was why dh went about asking while I was in the prep room for retrieval.
There was no doctor available to give him answers and the nurses available didn't have any. It was when I got into the transfer room that I was able to ask.
Not sure they were going to tell me if I didn't ask. Right there in that emotional state I couldn't make any other decision for hubby and I. All that was on my mind was if I had been doing so fine and I had lot of follicles (based on what the doctor that retrieved said before I was sedated) how come we only have just 1 embryo that made it to blastocyst stage. What could have possibly gone wrong

We had another meeting with the Dr after the negative result and we demanded to know the number of follicles retrieved and to know the likely reasons while we had only one blastocyst when everything has been fine up until that moment. He said he would have to ask the embryologist, he later mentioned a number during our conversation (without asking the embryologist) hubby and I noticed the inconsistency. I asked for the copies of our results, I was pushed around till my heart couldn't take it anymore and we left to go back later.

Please note I am only talking about not being carried along, not saying they are not capable. No! If we thought so we wouldn't settle for them in the first place.

That is why I advised up there, that anyone planning to use them or any other clinics should do their own research and demand for answers no matter what

Anyway, we share our experience here so others can prepare better when planning theirs.

I responded late but I just want to say your assessment of this hospital is on point! I had a horrible experience with them too. The nurses and doctors rarely gave out details. When u ask the will refer you to Dr. Kingswill himself. It's frustrating trying to follow up your treatment and protocol

My advise is take the extra money and stress to travel to do this. 2 or 3 of a cheaper ivf will equal to one in lagos. Budget 100k transport.

This might not be entirely true. I had two failed ivf in Lagos . My first outside Lagos succeeded, have two months to put to bed
Your hubby sperm count will determine whether you will go for IVF or IUI.

Did you do any test recently such as AMH, HSG and so on......

[/quote
Actually besides IVF and IUI there is also ICSI and other factors besides the Hubby sperm count determine which would be used.

Oh my as if TTC isn’t stressful enough.
First and foremost ladies do your research properly the hospital shouldn’t just treat you like a statistics but a person and from the get go should provide you with a treatment protocol of what to expect and carry you along. After egg collection you should get daily updates of how many embryos were collected and how many fertilised plus their grades. Why put you through all that stress just to transfer one especially if you a slightly older lady.I’m so sad on your behalf and sorry this happened to you after coughing up so much money.
Iv been TTC for over 12years so have had at least 8 cycles in and out of the country and have been catered to properly but my body has issues.
If you in Abuja consider Dr John Ekweani-+234 803 451 7847(He actually said a prayer in theatre before collecting the eggs and that was my only success in 2018 even though baby passed away). He used to work at the bridge Abuja but has opened his own practice.
If you in London consider create health or Chelsea and westminister hospital.

You're right ma'am.

We have IVF conventional and IVF ICSI. Hubby sperm count will determine the one doctor will use for IVF.

From experience, I used IVF ICSI because my hubby sperm count was 600thousand even though some medicine was given to him before my IVF procedure but the test result that was carried out four days before retrieval shows that his sperm count was 600thousand.
