tonychris22: This statement shows that you are ignorant. The government cannot create jobs for everybody and yes the pastor (I hate pastors btw) is right. It is not the government’s role to create jobs for its citizens. Insult me if you like, the truth is the truth! |

thebosstrevor1:Oga read and understand. It's a relative statement, hence the term 'longer'. The world started without business, long before barter. The isolated island in indian where there is no civilization yet, those guys don't trade they simply plant, hunt and eat, as they live like one big family. But they have been alive ever since, even longer than many business owner. Same with the group shown in brazil. People will survive longer without business than with business without employees. 2 Likes |

thebosstrevor1:What type of business. That is the question. In Niggeria one nan will open a tin roof shed and call it office, then put his cousin to man the shed, then go home and sleep saying he is an entrepreneur |

Jaqenhghar: And u have ppl here talking about SMEs in the west. As if those same SMEs dont incubate future leaders amongst their employees. As if the credit allowance extended to them is qhat ppl get here in Naija. Those SMEs have a few that take on economies of scale advantages and grow.. In Naija if no be oil u dey do , which bank go romance u ? All the same bro. Merry Christmas. Shame to see this Pastor say such nonsense. So many variables go into qctual capital accumulation. Why is he just running his mouth? Or are we supposed to be an agglomeration of aole proprietorships.... since ofc it will be one person operations all thru out. Nobody should be an employee ? These ppl hate us too much. We didn't steal the 400 billion usd oil money, never done the sort of tribal genocides they did. We dont plot coups....Yet we are the problem.. haha. Sure. |

Brushstrokes20:m The Nigerian people (citizens) should STOP creating children and population explosion everywhere. It should be clear to all thinking responsible Nigerians that the country does not have the financial, economic, technological and scientific resources to cater for all its people. No responsible Nigerian should born more than 1 or 2 children. |

Omihanifa: I agree with you on the setting up of technical/vocational schools. This can be done by the FG.... by the State.... or both can give incentives for same to be set up by private investors. Instead they roll out the red carpet for car companies... supermarket chains etc..... and we shout good development ... it will bring employment.... but is this helping us develop as a nation?... to be independent?... or is this exploitation?... allowing us to be consumers rather than producers? Without modern technical/vocational schools how will we be able to service/maintain modern machinery/equipment? Those who have cars up to 15 years old have problems finding mechanics who can diagnose and fix problems without trial and error or some short cut. Same problem with finding competent technicians to fix elevators... refridgerators... a/c units..... all using digital technology while our technicians are still stuck in the analog age. We need technical/vocational schools..... urgently. On his generation failing us.....yes they did.....but we are also failing ourselves by voting them in again and again to continue failing us. We need to look in the mirror. On government providing the opportunities for us to be trained... I agree... but I have a problem with us looking for the FG to give us loans. This is where I agree with the so called pastor..... we need to stop depending on government for everything... and that includes jobs. The FG is to provide us with the opportunities for us to learn how to fish..... then it is our responsibility to go and catch fish... not to sit and wait for the FG to give us money to buy a boat so we can go to sea to catch fish. The man is right.... a graduate should use his education... the knowledge he has acquired to find a way to earn a living for himself.... not be sitting and waiting for the FG. 1 Like |

thebosstrevor1: Just listen to yourself. Why are you guys so gullible and unintelligent to believe the words said by these crook god of men instead of watching their actions? Because these men are the same people who encourage millions that the only way to success is to be lazy and pay tithe so that they will be blessed. They keep flouting Covid19 restrictions to hold religious gatherings and force those compound fools graduate to pay tithe and offerings so as to be blessed. |

I respect real men of God but sometimes I wonder who to respect, going by their utterances. A graduate turned tailor is now your recommendation to the youths. Would that Lady be a tailor If she had gotten a job or will she remain as one if a better job comes her way? Rather than been so insulting, you should have encouraged youths, while still looking for a good job to engage in anything legal on the interim to keep body and soul together and keep hope alive. |
