Hello All, I have all my proof of funds in USD. This I deposited in my dorm account since December last year in lump sums. I printed my 6 months account statement for proof of fund and it is just a page with no activity on it aside a debit by the bank in August. Would this be an issue? |

Hello House, Please can a Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria qualification (i.e Fellow, CIBN) be used for WES evaluation to claim additional points to boost CRS scores. I will appreciate your prompt response. Thank you. |

Kekereekun123: Please when you want to give advice or make comments do with common sense please. False information as how? I came here to ask for more clarification of what I didn't know much about. While my statement States that, SOME PEOPLE SAID I CAN USE MY COUSIN. So is it wrong to seek for more factual information before taking any steps? I think this is one of our problem in Nigeria, Presently I live with a paskistan Phd student in Europe here, in short time this guy had brought 2 of his guys for same phd scholarship. This guy helped me out throughout my student permit process. gave me his bike, he will cook for me before I came back from lecture with HUMILITY and love. But to ask questions alone. Na abuse Nigerian go use finish you. It's well 4 Likes |

Ladywinterfell: Thank you for the advice, like I stated, few people said I can use him and that's is why I came to ask again, however, if I want to act on what your opinion is based on. I would have done that without asking anyone, I hope you understand too? |

Hello everyone, Thank you for all the questions and responses. They help alot. I always come here to read from time to time to keep myself up to date. Thanks to @Allegory and @Prettiepearlz for encouraging me to retake IELTS the 4th time. I was sitting at CRS of 466 all year and I realized that if i dont do something nothing will happen.I decided to take IELTS again.IELTS CBT : Dec12 Result was released on Dec 17: L9,R9, S7.5 W6.5(standard score in my location) requested EOR immediately .EOR results came back on Dec. 21 and wirting changed to 7. Since my reading score improved compared to my previous IELTS i was able to gain 3 points to add to my 466 so CRS was 469.Got ITA for the draws that happen on Wed 23 Dec. My birthday is early in the year.I would lose another 5 points if I continue to wait. I have been on this mater for a looooooooooong time God be praised. Now that I have the ITA, I have few questions.I have checked the previous threads before coming here to ask. Kindly pardon me if the answers exists somewhere. Some of the answers are also old and not sure its still correct. 1. I decided to shorten my Job title after ITA. NOC and years of expeirience claimed remain the same. Would this affect my application in any way.Would i need LOE for this? e.g Financial adviser\ investment analyst.I decided to use Financial adviser. 2.My POF is with GTB savings account. I read on the old threads that GTB is not including the balance on the letter. Is this still true? Can i use the letter they are issuing like that and attach my 6 months bank statement. 3. I am currenty pregnant and not sure how this will affect my application. Can someone who has been through this tell me what this would mean? I dont want to do the Xray while pregnant. Seniors, Kindly assist to provide clarity on the above. 2 Likes |

Prophetess Debby.... Thank you for this. This little thing made me lose the draw last week because I wasn't sure. Truly knowledge is power. However, I was determined not miss today's draw so help me GOD. Please I have a few questions: when putting details for PGD for 2years: Level of education should be masters or professional license while level of education according to ECA should be 2years of diploma in an institute right? Then also my primary noc will be one year in Jan, should I just use it or use my previous noc experience of 2years plus? Please others can also weigh in Thanks so much Debbieeeeeee: 1 Like |

For number 3 question, please contact IOM or qlife if they have protective shield. IOM Abuja confirmed they do. Infact they will give you priority for you to choose your date. So shoot them a mail. Your mail subject should be "pregnant Applicant enquiry". I guess IOM Lagos should do too. Sorry I don't have answers for others. GOD's best. blittech: 2 Likes |

blittech:Congratulations, you made it past the hard part. 1. I shortened mine but I reckon IRCC is interested in the NOC you choose and the responsibilities on your reference letter if it matches. 2. The letter and your SOA is fine (that’s what I used) but if you have patience you can actually compel them to include the information on the bank letter unless you don’t like plenty stress and too many talk. 3. There’s provision for pregnant women so you need not worry just be sure to inform them. Congratulations again and all the best. 2 Likes |

Did you apply for WES to request and deliver your transcript? I will advise delivery alone which cost about 5k. You should the one to follow up and request from your school. See that they send to ETX. The downside about using etx for request and delivery is that it might take long cos they will just send it to the school expecting a response. For you, you can take it further and tip some people if necessary. awesomeme: |

Good morning all, a quick one, I am at UBA bank right now to get a reference letter for my POF, the customer service agent is insisting I must do a letter of non indebtedness also, is that necessary, who has done a reference letter from a bank before? |

Good day everyone, I recently received an ITA with the Nov 25 draw with a score of 470. I am planning use a Fixed Deposit certificate as my proof of fund. The account i want to use is a newly opened account. My worries which i need some answers/suggestions to are; 1) Can someone use Fixed deposit certificates as POF ? If yes, the fixed deposit should be of what duration? will one year FD be acceptable? 2) Will the fact that the account is a new account have any impact on the credibility of the Proof of fund and the application as whole? 3) Apart from the FD certificate, do I require additional letter from the bank ? or is the Fixed Deposit certificate alone sufficient to be used as POF? Will be looking forward to all my questions being answered by the geniuses in the house. Complement of the season to everyone. |

Gabriel411:Yes, that is the new format they started. Collect the two letters (bank reference and letter of non-indeptedness) to include in your POF documents |

croxx86:Don't really think that should be an issue. It is a Dorm account meant for savings untouched. So far it exceeds the required POF and it is over 6 months. I think you are fine |
