Like the way Dem free David Lyon for Bayelsa state abi?

Political parties don't learn from past experience, they always think money will solve every damn issue.

If this case is handled carelessly and different from the Bayelsa case, then Nigerian judiciary should be scrapped.

How can you establish forgery without calling the issuing authorities (waec and UI) as witnesses in your case. I don't know what people are reading from that publication at all.
From the testimonies of the witnesses in the write up, the case is gone. None of them will hold water at all.
For the plaintiff to establish forgery case no be beans o. You must call waec and UI as part of your witnesses and other relevant bodies if you're claiming forgery. Not by calling those witnesses to come and authenticate certificates issued by well known institutions in Nigeria. The plaintiff has already made the case bye bye by those weak witnesses called.
I no Wetin be people dey read up there.

Even though certificate forgery is a serious crime in Nigeria but reasonable Nigerians knows that Obaseki has no case to answer. APC is just looking for a back door that they might use to enter but they will fail woefully
I know one of his coursemates who graduated with him. He confirmed that 3 credit passes in O'L in combination with other certificates was acceptable in some courses by UI and other universities back then. I combined IJMB with O'L result to enter uni Ilorin as was the requirement in those days. I can tell you that, APC who didn't see anything with oshiomohle's trade test certificate which he tendered as the ACN governorship candidate is only traveling on a journey to no destination in this case. UI never denied admitting obaseki. They even posted his results when he graduated. In late 2000s, one of my relations was admitted into FUT Minna with 4 credit passes and a Pass to study Photonics. This requirement was clearly stated in their UME Brochure that time..I don't know what it's called now because at a time, they changed it to UTME. Things are changing evertday. Today, such can't be possible anymore as university requirements in any course of studies especially now that admission has become very competitive with only a few universities serving millions of intakes every year. Now there's a post UME exam which wasn't there before. Tomorrow, admission requirements could be based on O'level grades like...you must have 5As in O'level results before studying a particular course...I heard some universities now do so to reduce the number of intakes in medicine and other courses like ...you must possess A's in the core science subjects even after the post UME success. People were still being encouraged in the 70s to go to the university...even secondary schools in Nigeria. Awolowo had to declare education free to encourage people to go to school...APC would sleep and snor in court

Sometimes we should put party, religion or tribal sentiment aside to make right the wrong if indeed we want a better Nigeria. Whatever party affiliation you belong Nigeria belongs to us all, we should. With all your opinion you shouldn't think you know more than the judges that says Obaseki has a case yo answer, allow him to defend himself and allow the court to decide

I wonder how our politicians spend billions on legal counsel and still end up having lacuna and loopholes in their cases.
All the legal counsel of Obaseki and PDP that went through his INEC form need to be jailed, same with David Lyon's.
For crying out loud Obaseki escaped this same ordeal by the wisker in 2016 and PDP only lost the case due to APC and Oshiomoles' time wasting tactics only to repeat a more grievous mistake 4 years later knowing fully well that your one time friend and ally who knows all your secrets is now your sworn enemy.
You brought a certificate in 2020 that contradicts the sworn affidavit of 2016?

I hope he survive this.

He won't survive this. He is not a wise politician. He is s pawn between two contending blocs in APC.

And you think that in accepting Obaseki and presenting him as their candidate, PDP did not carry out a careful examination of his certificates and all that was involved in it? Mind you that all the parties know the danger of presenting candidates with wrong certificates now.

PDP had other candidates and could have defeated Ize Iyamu with the backing of Obaseki. PDP was not fooled. In presenting Obaseki, they had a lot of corrections - over Obaseki's documentations - to make and I believe the corrections were made.

Obaseki will survive it.

And for all his years as a technocrat, he paraded forged documents? Our youths seem to view university admission of the early 70s from the current state of affairs there.

The truth is that APC has followers who allow themselves to be hoodwinked by the party. There appears to be this kick-and-follow among its members. No one takes the time to reason out serious matters like this.

. Good and correct! Olujimi succeeded in approaching the case from PDP view in 2016 and APC view in 2020. This strengthens the case, making it formidable as it is. and nobody who will appear for PDP as D1. 2 3 etc should not stumble on words for they have questions to answer on this case.Let see how PDP will break the wall of APC in their defence...

I wish those supporting Obaseki on this case based on their hatred for Oshiomhole will realize that this case is the foundation laid by the PDP in 2016... If Olujimi wanted to finish this case finally, He would have asked the court to order Dan Orbih to appear in the witness box with the letter the Abuja High court wrote to his chambers in 2016 denying issuing the Affidavit Obaseki presented to INEC.
Hard and bad time for Obaseki and his legal team..

Do you know that the APC called the Abuja high court Registrar as a witness and he denied that the affidavit submitted to INEC by Obaseki in 2016 is not from the court?
That alone is a tough hurdle for Obaseki in this case because a case of forgery might be established on that.
Obaseki’s legal team and advisers played a bad game by using delay tactics. Now the pressure is on them to rush their defense in less than 4 days.

Please when did the Abuja high court registrar mount the box as witness? I didn't see that in any media? Any link please?

INEC will not need anytime. They'll simply say they're neutral and have nothing to say.

The court wrote Dan Orbih's chambers in 2016 that the Affidavit is not in their records... That alone if proven by the plaintiffs will nail Obaseki.
