Hello mate, this is not an issue at all. 10,000 € is more than enough for a single person. Just provide your reference letter from your EU bank factoring CIC requirements in the letter. Don't think 10,000 Eur is too much of a money to create suspicion. Raising that money in a year is not a big deal even as a student. You're good to go.

Furthermore, there is no need for gift deed or whatever they call it. Folks that use those are people who don't have raw funds. You have the raw funds. You're in order.

Thank you soo much, so please aside from bank statements and the bank letter, do I then need a letter of explanation?

Letter of explanation (LOE) is only useful when there's a gray area in your application where you may need to explain further for the immigration officer handling your case, to understand. If everything in your application is straight-forward then, there's absolutely no need for an LOE.

You can state you’re married but will be unaccompanied.
Once you get there and your feet solid to the ground, you can file for your wife and kid(s) as it may.

This is based on what I have read here, please do your due diligence.

thank you

You cant hide your marriage status. If you want to sponsor your wife and kid in future, the marriage cert date and birth date would have to be after you got PR and arrived Canada which is impossible. If you try it you would probably be banned and sent back to Nigeria because its misrepresentation. You have to say the complete truth. It is really not worth it. Figure out how to get the remaining funds.
thank you

Hello, good evening. Please I have some questions.
I recently received ITA and now putting together my documents to submit.

1) As regards POF, I live in Europe(came here for studies) my mum lives in the UK, over time she sends me money very often (as upkeep and to support my pof saving) and it’s part of this money that made up my POF, as-well as savings from my part time job here(that pays well) and some money I changed over time from my Nigerian account and put in my account here.
I have over 10k € as my balance from my statements. I don’t have any lump sum that was paid from a second party after or before ITA all this money’s came in bits over the months and regularly (monthly) dates as far back as April . Please In such an instance do I still need a deed of gift? Or if no, how do you advise I explain the funds I have. I’ve heard soo many people say since I’ve only lived in my present country for just a year, it may raise suspicions on how I was able to get the money and all. Please I am confused tongue

2) if I need a deed of gift, we are not in the same country and with the whole covid restrictions I cannot travel over to her, can a lawyer in my own country of residence draft the deed of gift if it’s needed?

#PersonalOpinion

Put yourself in a VO's shoes....if you feel like you need to explain anything, then do so with an LOE.

The alternative is to submit only what is the IRCC checklist i.e. a letter from your European bank and deal with an ADR if/when one arrives.

In making your decision, consider what percentage of the €10k is from momsie, from your part time work and from your Naira account.

PS: hope your part time job is in your profile under work experience OR personal history. Hope also the Naira in your Nigerian account can be explained if the need arises.

Good luck!

Don't sweat it. You simply need to send an email the OINP email address telling them about the expiry. Provide details of the old profile and new profile. It isn't a big deal.

Please who else is experiencing delay in wes verification? My school had a change of signatories, this has prolonged my documents being verified.
Although, my school has responded but the new signature acceptance has taken so long. Since November last year.

Please anyone who have experienced this should brief me ppls.

Hello

I read here on NL that

skill level C will not qualify for the Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program nor SINP. 8431 is skill level C.

How true is that?

I tracked my transcript sent from school Dec 11 and it has arrived Canada evaluation center and delivered on 15th but the WES website still shows that ... still waiting for your document.

Who has experienced this? Does it take so much time to reflect on the site?
