jln115: Load shedding doesn't mean less people have access to electricity. Yes, some may have other sources of electricity but on a whole access to electricity will reduce because not all have alternative electricity supply. What brings about Load shedding? Possible answers -Low electricity production, - Faulty or damages to some electrical generation machines. What did I do wrong? Ans: I posted a list of countries and their electricity access. You posted yours and I said I disagree with the Ghana part just as you disagree with the SA part so the last thing I expected from you was a superior evidence from you so don't be a scum'bag' 1 Like |

vankelvin:- Loadshedding has nothing to do with electrification...........that is the argument. Also here is your evidence: https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/EG.ELC.ACCS.ZS?locations=ZA and for Ghana: https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/EG.ELC.ACCS.ZS?locations=GH |

Abohboy: The common mwanainchi(native) will not say this. you're the outsider just like boer so I bet you outsiders lives better life than a common(majority of) Zulus or Khoisans. Read what is happening on ground. Eskom implemented a further round of load shedding commencing in December 2019. South Africa is currently experiencing its worst energy crisis, when Load Shedding Stage 6 activated for the first time ever in December.[26] Eskom stated that of its total nominal capacity of around 44,000 MW, it was unable to provide around 13,000 MW of total capacity, resulting in the nationwide blackouts.[27] A combination of factors were blamed for the fourth period of load shedding ranging from weather to allegations of sabotage and neglect. Unusually heavy rains in the highveld region of South Africa resulted in wet coal and flooding leading to a number of plants being unable to operate effectively,[28][29] most notably at Medupi power station.[27] President Ramaphosa stated that an additional reason for the load shedding was the loss of 2,000 MW due to alleged sabotage by an Eskom employee.[30][31] Eskom chief operations officer, Jan Oberholzer, publicly stated that the primary reason for load shedding was due to a lack of maintenance and neglect over the preceding twelve years resulting in an unpredictable and unreliable system.[32] South African opposition parties criticized the African National Congress and president Ramaphosa for the way in which they handled the crisis.[33] An additional round of load shedding (stage 4)[34] was initiated in March 2020 when the Koeberg Nuclear power station experienced a fault with one of the sea water cooling pumps.[35] 1 Like |

Just30: 1)-- GN groups is the right name. Gold Coast Investment is the mother company. 2)-- Menzgold started as a ponzi scheme but all the same they were paying their customers alright. The business was doing so well without any issues. What any sensible Government will do is to correct all the anomalies in such a way that customers will not be short-changed but this low-thinking Government collapsed Menzgold outrightly, seized all their assets and it's been over 2 years now Government has refused paying customers their locked up monies. Is this not wickedness? 3)-- I'm supprised at you? What wrong did Heritage Bank commit? 4)-- Yes those radio stations were oweing Government but could there have been a sensible way to retrieve all those monies? Yes but since they are affiliated to the Opposition party Government decided not to allow them operate but what they refuse to understand is many people lost their jobs through that insensitive actions taken by this low thinking Government. 5)-- Lastly, you are confusing "Small scale mining" with "galamsay". Small scale mining is a legal operating firms which have accreditation from Mines commission to operate. They've been given a concession to mine so get the difference. |

vankelvin:1. GN Bank was the mother company 2. Since we agree it was some form of ponzi, now you know why it shouldn't exist. His actual business was doing well and that was not touched. 3. Read the BOG report on Heritage and you will know why it shouldn't even exist. 4. The era of gov't pampering companies should be a thing of the past. Those pampers were the reasons why some bank managers kept running down their banks, knowing they will receive free money from BOG by year end. 5. Guy they've all been doing galamsey which was destructive, Now their environmental destruction is even worse. |

jln115: Nothing new, just as I said earlier, the electricity coverage figure in this report was in 2018. We are in 2021 and a lot have happened in the electricity sector in Ghana. Stop repeating issues here. You don't agree with my stats about SA, I don't also agree with your stats about Ghana so case close 1 Like |

jln115:Stop shifting goal post boer . We're talking about loadshedding.. I can give you the trend from 1996-2020 and you'll have to agree with me that Eskom is in despair. GDP:- Our gdb is doing fine. Our government has placed strategies to revive our economy, although the measures are not favorable to a common taxpayer. |
