See that guy with honda problem see how much resources nd time he had spent before you gave him the solution, so imagine if he did not know about nairaland existence it mite have taken him 1year or him selling the car off. So now imagine if it was one hybrid

I still don't understand who cursed this country to this extent.
I just dropped off two ladies fresh graduates 1hr ago.
As we were on the trip one of them's phone rang.
The caller was asking her to pay a sum of 1.5m before she can get the N65k Monthly federal govt job offer she is seeking.
The other lady responded; is she mad? Why will she have N1.5m and still be looking for work?
I just dey imagine this madness since till I got home

Okay!

As to what took me, my riders and a colleague to area F, Ikeja.

I was on a trip to ikeja from where again ooh... Okay bariga. So I tried to access Bank Anthony way from that street beside that Mr.Big's that was demolished along side Mobil filling station. As I entered I maintained the service lane as usual but like we know there is a B/S just beside the road and a danfo guy was trying to navigate out of the b/s, we all know how these danfo guys are mad. I was trying to dulge him by drifting to my right. There was, a moderately fast moving traffic at the time of this incidence, a corolla was horning seriously left and behind me... As a prof in the hustle he should understand I'm trying to dulge someone In front of me na... Had I breakdown for the danfo to enter my front we would have had a multiple jam because the traffic was fast moving.

No contact, no collusion and no hit... Onenof my secrets of driving is "I always look at my rear mirrors to know what's behind me".

But this guy driving the corolla took it personal and started chasing me, trying to block me even when nothing had happened.

I was to go into Isaac John so I'd to slow down when this stupid fool came to right and started threatening pulling stunt like he was to hit me... I was having a lady and his younger brother at the back seat.... Next thing I saw the corolla guy showing me a fire arm... At that time we were changing it for ourselves while still on motion... Me Who the Bleep do you think you're?... Your father! na me u dey threaten with gun... I won know who you be today.

I speed up and blocked him in front. Already the lady was shouting "leave him, leave him, he has a gun". Me? na after every every I even know say she talk something like that. na so I come down... Unfortunately for the idiot... Some patrol police was right behind us and have been observing everything right from the very start like it was planed.

My rider done come down started shouting "he has a gun he has a gun...." police? na so them jump into action... Come see film...

Officer 1: Sir we saw everything that happened pls enter your car.
Officer 2&3: Has already enter the guy's car with handcuff on him... Na so we taje land for Area F oooh.

Las las, the idiot fool was a bloody civilian and the weapon was just his steering lock tools.

Police asked me to leave with my riders. We left the guy there begging for mercy.

Senseless Guy.

How I wish others would understand your point! But, nevertheless, let whoever wants to go hybrid go. When the battery wahala starts or wiring issue, keep it to yourself.

You do well sir , I just remembered, when my Blue Honda civic was giving me several issues, some of those issues were fix and others couldn't be fix .. So I was told to take the car to a Honda specialist in Ladipo .. This Mechanic only deals with only Honda cars only nothing else .......

When I got there the place was full over full with people waiting for their cars to be fix .. I was there waiting with I beg and I beg to attend to me ..

After waiting for more than 3 hours. He was able to attend to me .. It took him less than 1 hour to fix the issue, it was a very simple and it cost me about 3k naira . Few weeks after that another issue arise with the car ,car was taken to the same mechanic.. He was busy he didnt have time to attend to my car .. My driver was there for a full day ,and we was told to come back the next again ..next day came and the same shit ..the guy no get time too many customers etc ...out of frustration of begging and out anger I sold the car .. I wish I didn't and just wait ,but I was so too upset ..looking back now I wish I didn't sell the car .. The car was sold less than 1 week I put it up for sale .......

My point here with hybrid cars that only few specialist mechanics that can attend to it . The hybrid owners will go through 100 times worse than I went through.. If the owners are willing to wait for hours to days to months before a hybrid specialist attends to them . Than good luck to them ..

Keep mind it is not good to be switching mechanics up and down with any cars ,talk less of cars like hybrid...

This is my last topic on the matter .. I owe nobody any apology.. Common logical reasoning sometimes is not common ........ No more talk on this matter again ....

Baba why are you contradicting yourself. First it was that there are no technicians for hybrid cars and now it is the stress and time to get the car fixed

See eh... there’s no cutting corners to excellence. Once you are good at what you do people will always find you. Even people with normal cars don’t mind waiting for long hours to have their cars fixed.

You can’t be wherever you are and dictate what happens here. There are lots of hybrid cars here with plenty technicians also. Stick to what you know

The truth is, our mechanics are really trying. Go to edmunds and other car review websites and you'll see hundreds of car problems that still remain unresolved despite countless visits to the dealership.

I have even seen someone say Acura or Lexus(can't remember which) had to fly in their engineer to his city to disgnose and resolve the issue with his vehicle when the dealership he bought the vehicle from couldn't resolve it.

Even the engineer that was sent could not resolve the issue so Acura had to replace the vehicle for the guy.

Those were engineers with modern tools, scanners, and tens of years of experience. How much more our own local mechanics. While it can be argued that quite a number of them incompetent, cconsidering what is available for them to work with, they are really trying.
