I went to a boarding school too. Nothing wrong in sending your child to board. Just make sure the child is strong-willed and has enough sex-education before sending them there. If you went through a boarding house system you'll understand there are so many things you are put through which you may not have being used to at home, like waking up early, prep stuff and many compulsory activities almost on a daily basis that can make you loose some flesh till you are able to fully adjust. Or you don't know how some corp member pretend to be sick at the orientation camp just to evade morning drill?! This is what an average boarding house student go through almost on a daily basis though not as rigorous, that is why a spoilt child who can hardly handle anything at home will become so helpful after just a term in the boarding house. Do you see the young boy who is used to pooing and wee-weeing like a dense suddenly regaining his sanity due to the fact that some little boy within his age group have talk senses into his head which the mother will never do. Doctor report confirmed there was no sexual abuse as the anus was intact and never torn, if its due to the physical outlook why will the mother then claim sexual abuse where there is none. Aside sexual abuse, there is no serious issue here that can't be handled internally by the school management.

Out of the counted charges there, the sin of that school is negligence, and their negligence resulted to the other charges, they have to face the music for that.

Is it that the teachers in question also molested the boy sexually? because I don't seems to understand people's comment here, they seems to take it as if those teachers also molested the boy sexually.


Those officials sin here is negligence, their negligence caused all these, because I see no reason why a teacher will starve a student because he is bedwetting. O wrong naw. Therefore, they should face the music.

Normal legal language and procedure in Nigeria. You will say the same thing if your neighbor take you to court on a trump up charges of defiling her daughter who frolic your apartment. And since evidence will be required to nail you, till then will you want to be remanded and attend court session from behind bar or from the comfort of your home, while investigation is being carried out? Same scenario playing out here, evidence will be required to nail the accused but since it is a bailable offence that is why they solicited for a bail until investigation is concluded. If at the end of the day the accusations are found to be libelous and lacking in substance the accuser will be fined.

Was it Kumuyi that molested the boy?

So the child was singled out among other student and kept in a place to starve and die?

Show an evidence of when she was insulted by the school?

If this happens to me, I wouldn't act foolishly like the woman littering the social media by calling out kumuyi and leaving the real perpetrators,making it look like I have an hidden agenda against the church or kumuyi.... I will drag those kids who molested my kid,their parents,Mr Akpan and the principal to court instead.
