The #ObianoInUs Project! In the next two months, Chief Willie Obiano will be 7 years in office, as the Governor of Anambra State. Unlike many, past and present Governors in Nigeria, Gov Obiano has his signature spread across the State; with quality projects in the 3 senatorial zones, through the 21 Local Government Areas, down to the 178 communities in Anambra. These projects range from "small" but life saving achievements to huge infrastructural developments and legacy projects. Also, the effect of Gov Obiano's leadership has facilitated quanta of developments leading to a very viable State that we all enjoy today. Since the core essence of a Government is to protect life and properties of the people; and create an enabling environment for the survival, growth and development of the society; Gov Obiano deserves more accolades because he has done excellently in these 2 fronts: security and creation of the ideal environment for ndi Anambra to soar; and much more. Today, Anambra is the 4th largest economy in Nigeria; Anambra has the least Unemployment Rate in Nigeria; the Safest State in Nigeria; and the State with the best Road Network. A few opposition apologists still argue that our economy still lags; that we still have unemployed citizens; that crimes are still recorded; and that some roads are bad; But none of those ego massaging arguments negates the fact that Gov Obiano's administration did the needful to catalyze Anambra's economy to become the 4th largest in Nigeria. Same applies to lame arguments on unemployment, security and roads; yes, there are rooms for improvement even till eternity but Gov Obiano has done so much in those sectors to earn Anambra the 4th, 1st and 1st positions in the trio. We all know that the success of this administration in all development KPIs triggered the massive return of people, facilitated inflow of investments; creating jobs, causing surge in wealth creation and catalyzed the greatness we feel in the State, today. Anambra recently emerged as the State with the most efficient healthcare system in Nigeria; also the State beat Lagos, Kano and 32 other States in 2020 States' Fiscal Sustainability Index. ...We are 1st in South East and 2nd to Rivers in Nigeria. These achievements are so numerous and less talked about that many people unknowingly live in denial of them; that's why a person who is earning a living in a company built because the Government constructed the road, provided security and lit up the area, still says Government did nothing! People enjoy a new life, earn a living and set up new ventures, here and there with ease; yet, not appreciating the #ObianoEffect that made it all possible. Thus, the #ObianoInUs Project tends to bring out the achievements of Gov Willie Obiano's administration, not just the popular and very glaring legacy projects, but every bit of it that precipitates the benefits we enjoy and the greater Anambra that we cherish today. Sector by Sector, MDAs by MDAs and Town by Town, we shall bare the unpublicized accomplishments of the Willingly Working Willie. We shall uncover the laudable achievements of Gov Obiano; the new developments we enjoy today due to #ObianoEffect; and benefits we receive because of the new Anambra under his administration. ...How the character of Gov Obiano; his unique attitude to life and humane side have impacted on the populace shall be revealed, too! Through the Anambra State Digital Entrepreneurship Office, we shall launch a dedicated platform (web-based and App) that will permit every Onye Anambra, the opportunity to check out the achievements of Gov Willie Obiano in any part of Anambra with a click, and on the go. One way or another, there's #ObianoInUs all... That we'll uncover for all to feel! For steady updates on the project and opportunity to join the team, join our Channel on Telegraph @ https///ObianoInUs. It's 2021... Let the game begin! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Your state has the worst roads in igbo land. All the roads in your state are dusty, tiny and dilapidated, they need to be dualized. Anambra has the best and widest road networks in the SE. Tell your incompetent governor to come to Anambra and under-study how to do proper road infrastructures. Fact [s] Grgton:[/s] 2 Likes |

See his weak come back. Imo state has the worst roads in igbo land. All the roads in Imo state are dilapidated, tiny, dusty and in a shambolic mess. Owerri is a planless town littered with shanties, slums, ghettos, no wonder most Imolites live in Anambra. [s] Grgton:[/s] 4 Likes |

latest updates of works at the new Anambra int'l airport. This clip shows best just how massive the airport is going to be, and also shows another construction besides the control tower and terminal we're used to seeing. I'm impressed with what's shown so far.....the level/quality of work done. You can tell by watching just how solid the taxiway/apron is, but i doubt if they can finish this by april! There's still a lot more work left to be done! Clip courtesy NedMedia: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuYqL0CJ6JmJmfhT3zj5_GA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOytn2waA3k 5 Likes |

The gov't should do up the approach road to the airport well.....at least 4 lanes, with trees on either side and carpet grass on the verges. Also, land on either side of the airport road should be reserved for hotels, conference centres, office blocks and aviation logistics and related coys! 4 Likes |

PROUDIGBO: The bolded is so critically important i had to re-emphasize it in this post. I could not visit the airport during my last visit, but i drove past Umuleri/Nteje area. The area is becoming another Onitsha with lots of commercial shops and residential houses coming up. In southeast Asian countries, the heart beat of their economies are their airport cities. The proper use of the areas around the airport determine so much more than local business people using it. Apart from supporting business and logistics in the entire region, the airport has the potential to massively improve tourism in the region. Hopefully, the state government can sign an MOU with a reputable company like those doing the Awka Millennium city and Onitsha Luxury place to regulate the development around the airport city project, to ensure optimum value of the location for the state. Five star hotels, true shopping malls (Not supermarkets we call malls in Nigeria), residential buildings/ activities, high rise office complexes that will eventually be rented by banks, airlines etc, and other recreational outdoor facilities as amusement parks should be reserved in the area. The area being half way between Awka and Onitsha should be purpose planned and developed as the heart beat of the state. Once the land around the airport is allowed to be built up with shops and stores like Onitsha, it becomes very difficult to develop what was intended by demolishing structures. Thus, now is the time to ensure the area is secured away from land prospectors whose central strategy is simply to build an open market of lock-up shops there as they do in every other location. 6 Likes |
