I know nothing about Rutherford Hayes in 1887, but I am certain it did not involve a state suing another state for which candidates it choose to give it's electoral college votes.

His tenure was tarnished before it began
He was tagged RUTHERFRAUD by his opposition the Democrats

They set up a special committee of sen,SCOTUS judges, reps, to intervene

Thankfully you will live very long and have many years to reflect.
Trump didn't damage anybody. If anything, he opened the eyes of a lot of people to see the evils happening in this world just that many of you are just too brainwashed to see what's in front of your nose. Trump is a hero and a man of truth.

If you are well versed in history, why not educate us.

I don't see where you said a state sued another state in the Supreme Court for its choice of electors. From my little knowledge of US constitution, a Senate committee can only be set up if a state send 2 sets of electors. The committee would then determine which set of electors were sent according to the state's laws and the constitution.

The courts can intervene at any time during the election process and they have the final say.

Texas lawsuit was constitutionally binding
Constitutionally binding how? When the Supreme Court said it does not have the right to sue.

U.S. Supreme Court throws out Texas lawsuit contesting 2020 election results in four battleground states

The lawsuit challenged election results in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. The high court said Texas did not have standing to bring the case.

In a few brief sentences, the high court said it would not consider the case for procedural reasons, because Texas lacked standing to bring it.

"Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections,"

The election was not disputed by Republicans. It was only disputed by President Trump and his die hard supporters.

The so called disputed elections was organised by Republican Secretaries of States, ratified by Republican state legislators and confirmed by most republican Congress members. A Republican VP preceded over the confirmation of the elections. A republican Attorney General declared the election free and fair. A largely republican Judiciary threw out over 60 court challenges. So which Republicans are disputing the elections again?

Trump's radicalised cult members does not equate to the republican party.

My brother Trump is a goner and every one associated with him will go with him.

The main stream media, big tech and wall Street made him. They have all ganged up to destroy him and his associates. They have had enough of him because he thinks he is bigger than the US itself.
I can bet my bottom Dollar that a year from now Trump will be dead broke.

Here are some reaction from them;
Stripe has stopped processing payments for the Trump campaign.

American Express and JPMorgan Chase have said they would no longer donate to candidates who supported last week's insurrection or did not vote to confirm President-elect Joe Biden's victory in the Electoral College.

Citigroup confirmed Sunday that it is pausing all federal political donations for the first three months of the year.

Twitter suspended Trump from its platform, as did Facebook, last week. The social media company Parler was banned from Apple's App Store as well as Google's Play Store, and Amazon cut off Parler from its Amazon Web Services platform.

Shopify, an e-commerce platform for merchants to sell goods, also shut down the Trump campaign's merchandise website as well.

Forbes editor warns companies that might hire Trump press secretaries: Magazine will assume everything they say is a lie.

2012 - Obama rigged the elections. Ban the electoral college. There needs to be a revolution. Voting Machines are flipping Romney votes for Obama

2016 - If I lose, it'll be because it's rigged. Ted Cruz rigged the Iowa Caucus.

2020 - Dominion flipped votes for Biden. Mail In Ballots are illegal. The elections are rigged.

If anyone doesn't see just how shameless this guy is - then I don't know what else to say.

Let those who are afraid resign, it will make the invocation of the 25th easier than if they are many.
The few can just take their stand and do what they want to do by a small caucus which will be swift and precise like a sniper aiming freely at his target.

In 2016 he made the same rigging allegations against Clinton when he thought he was losing, and when he found out he actually won, he then called the elections free and fair.

Donald Trump's 'Rigged Election' Claims Raise Historical Alarms Oct. 17, 2016, 5:17 PM EDT / Updated Oct. 17, 2016

As Donald Trump's campaign falters, his warnings that the presidential contest will be rigged have become a focus of his pitch to voters.

Historians say Trump's sustained effort to call the process into question has no close parallel in past elections. And some are increasingly worried that his claims — for which he's offered no real evidence — could leave many of his supporters unwilling to accept the election results, potentially triggering violence and dangerously undermining faith in American democracy.

In a tweet Monday, he declared that there's "large-scale voter fraud happening on and before election day." In fact, numerous studies have shown that in-person voter fraud is vanishingly rare.

In August, Trump told a Pennsylvania crowd that the "only way" he could lose the state is "if cheating goes on." Trump's vice presidential running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, echoed those claims Monday in Ohio, declaring: "Voter fraud cannot be tolerated by anyone in this nation."
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna667831

And this was for an election Trump actually won. So you see Trump was never going to accept any election he lost, never.

It's just mind blowing that his supporters always fall for the same tricks.
