One of my uncles has been appointed the Acting VC of Imo State University. He is from Okporo Orlu.

I was telling my dad won’t it be a problem because he’s a professor from UNN who was given an appointment in IMSU. I thought VCs are appointed from the state own school?

This is a good news. One tout will still come here and tell us that our own Orlu is marginalized by Owerri people.

Meanwhile, this is the current state of Sam Mbakwe international cargo airport.

Governor - Orlu

IMSU VC - Orlu

Ohanaeze President - Orlu.

Orlu people in these offices should help bring more government presence to their communities cause in future when power leaves Orlu it won't be easy to return.

Oranaeze President is just a ceremonial office and a toothless bull dog.

it would be very easy to as long as Orlu is the deciding factor. I am sure Dedetwo agrees with me.

It says a lot that one can hardly point to any ongoing gov’t project in the state!

There's no ongoing government project apart from road projects

it seems to me like an underground bridge or tunnel.
There is a big digging in the ground..it's very deep..
It crosses across the main road

Lol, who is building underground bridge or tunnel? Dude is busy everything on sight. All the roundabouts have been destroyed in the name of painting the roads, yet all the roads in various stages of disrepair. They have patched Umezurike and anyone driving past there would be left wondering who did such disgusting work. One heavy rainfall is all it needs to wash everything away. We were complaining of China roads during Rochas tenure but what I'm seeing now is indescribable.

We are in serious trouble in Imo State.

The kind of greed going on is off the charts.

All of them just want to steal and relocate their families to abuja or lagos to live a good life with infrastructures there.

Imagine the tunnel a full government is building not even private citizen with the size of that dig I was expecting better and this is what they built
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie(m): 4:24pm On Jan 10, 2021
Build quality road NO, it's hard for them to construct a full double lane road, even if they do they would use materials that make it last only 3-4years, construct flyover NO, construct drainage NO, construct better thing for the state NO.

Compare that rubbish drainage to this one below by akwa ibom government.

These people never loved us

Real development is private sector driven which is the difference between Imo and Ebonyi or Akwaibom.
