Miredo: Good move to call out all the parties on Twitter. I notice VFS seems to have responded. I know COVID delayed some Mar PPR submissions and similar to his scenario, COPR was issued in Sept and passports were returned.... perhaps there are more Mar PPR people in his shoes. Another option is to travel to Ghana with an ETC and request his passport physically or nominate a lawyer as a representative who can go and ask for it. Even ordinary visitor's visa, we have a right to have our passports back and especially if the COPR has been issued as per his MyCIC profile. It will end well for him and for us all by God's grace. 1 Like |

r4blessing: What is the reason so that you can be advised appropriately |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by Nobody: 7:56pm On Jan 12, 2021 |
r4blessing: As Rapture said...the reason will be important. Some claim to have written a passionate plea and case was reopened. Worst case: judicial review which will require legal counsel. |

Please nairalanders help!!! I'm in urgent need of advice on how to go about my working experience especially nysc, what to do,here's my story via the working experience I intend using three reference letters and documentation to claim working experience of which one of them is a year plus continuous working experience. I've worked in three places thus far, first is during nysc, which started November 2017 and ended November 2018 making it a year experience. But the issue is that I worked in a government secondary school where I was posted to. I teached biology in the sec school though I studied Geophysics bsc. How can I use this work experience to claim a one year working experience without raising lids(much suspicion) or rejection for using nysc of which nysc can be used to claim points.. Please experts in the house ,teachers, lecturers please I want your input on this matter as it my major concern now I cant afford to lose a whooping 25 points for using only two years working experience,if I can be guided properly on how to tackle this issue on my working experience I can claim 50points. I need to enter the pool soon. Please who have experience on nysc should helpppp biko |

Rapture07: He submitted his Application earlier in 2019, Visa office Accra. His NOC is 4112. He ordered for his GCMS notes after sometime and noted that he had failed eligibility. The officer's comment was "I am not satisfied that PA performed a substantial number of the main duties of 4112, hence eligibility failed" The VO was concerned that he worked in a bank and his Job title was not a lawyer but his job description clearly marches that of 4112. He works in zenith HQ in the their legal department. Immediately he sent an email for the reconsideration of his eligibility and also sent an email to the then MP, Mr Greg. He was told to re forward the following documents for the reconsideration of his eligibility. 1. Letter of explanation on the use of two reference letter 2. Reference letter from supervisor/ company secretary of the bank 3. Reference letter from the human resource department of the bank (previously sent) 4. Email confirmation of title adjustment 5. Pay slips confirming title adjustment 6. Bank statement showing inflow from the last one year and reimbursement for expenses incurred in carrying out legal duties for the bank. He was however sent a rejection letter soon after. He order another note after the rejection and noted that the additional documents he sent were not reviewed or even considered. He also has two friends in that his department that has used same reference letter and gotten PR but their VO was't Accra. We are thinking of Judicial review and all that. Please advice |

Please your advise for proof of Funds Have work contract from a labour supply (HR company)- A and seconded to work for company B . I receive salary from 2 sources, 75% from company A and 25% from company B, both inflows reflect on my bank statement with the different company names. Company A issues monthly payslips and in the payslip it mentions the amount paid by company B, but writes it as On-site payment and writes out the figure. Company B, does not give payslip unless you ask and whenever requested its not so easy. Question: Is there any need to request payslip from company B , or will the payslip from company A will suffice for both? |

Good evening my japa fellows, please help me clear my worries regarding my fiancee's application 1. Is it okay to put that she was paid in cash in her reference letter?? 2. Will 10k salary raise eyebrow for a VO? Since the job role is a teacher. 3. The school has no online presence. Should she be worried ? Thanks @all |

r4blessing: Sorry about this. The detail above raises some further questions. Perhaps the exact rejection letter may help (with his personal details blotted out). 1. Since we are human, there will always be errors or subjectivity.... I'm not sure that the fact that his colleagues with similar ref letters were granted PPR will be a basis for arguing your brother in law's case. They may not have been performing exactly the same roles. Also to use them effectively those people would need to cooperate and provide their own personal information which understandably they may be reluctant to do if they are already PRs now. 2. The statement in red above tells us that his duties did not seem to match the NOC. Please my sincere apologies if i have misunderstood. Have you or any other 3rd party reviewed what he submitted to see if it indeed matches 4112? If it does, then I'm very surprised that an issue was made of his title and I would suspect that's a valid case for JR. 3. Why was another ref letter requested? Was it to indicate a new job title? Was his title changed as part of a regular process by the employer or because of the express entry issue raised? According to what I know of work experience we should be concerned about the job duties NOT job title. 4. How long ago was the rejection? I am not sure at all, but I think there may be a time limit to seeking JRs. He will need a lawyer for effective JR, although I suppose people are also allowed to represent themselves. What I saw on canada.ca was specific to refugee applicants but this second link may help. https://www.settler.ca/english/five-options-to-visa-or-immigration-applications-refusals/ 1 Like 1 Share |

ka59: Is this an Express Entry question? Asking because of your previous posts on work permit. Is your question about POF OR work reference? In any event, I think a LOE may not be a bad idea as it seems this is a bit of an unusual work situation. 1 Like |

Thanks very much your reponse really helps , now ok as LOE will be ideal for this case. It's for work permit and question for POF just to show the source of funds. Mmamaroon: |

Stevewonder: 1. I guess so. Some other people say no. There is a sample of cash salary certificate on page 1 if she decides to elaborate. 2. I'm not sure this is an issue.....IRCC have not stipulated a minimum wage...only criteria wage-wise is that the applicant was paid. Best not to worry about what you cannot change. PS: was she really paid 10k a month? 3. Best not to worry about what you cannot change. Try to ensure the email and phone number on the letter are functional though. 1 Like |

r4blessing: This is obviously a case of NOC mismatch. I understand why he might have chosen this NOC,as I currently work in the same department in another bank and mostly lawyers carry out those duties. The issue is what he's doing is very different from the duties assigned to that NOC. See the image below. I have very little experience in the area of defending this issue, but I hope I've been able to point out his error. 3 Likes

Good morning to you all, kudos to those that has been enlightening us. Please I will like to know which type of Canada programme/ visa type I can apply for that doesn’t attract the Language test exam, faster processing time, safe and then the step by step of starting processing of Canada visa. Please note, I have never traveled out of Nigeria, I am a graduate with over 13 years of experience, married with children but would like to first travel alone. I look forward to all the responses and advice you will be giving me. God bless us all. 1 Like |
