Sulee23: I would say: Inform them immediately your status changes from single to married. Book and complete medicals as soon as possible. Some elements of this might be useful https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/185#95901375 1 Like |

Daboll: Your employer would state it on your ref letter, I suppose.....Mr X is paid commission of Y for every Z done. If they pay commission then it will also be easy to track on your SOA (if you feel you need to include that). If you are self employed see the checklist on page 1 for what docs you need to provide. |
Post ITA you required to provide your 10 year travel history. Places and dates. OMG!!! I was robbed in 2015, and I lost plenty of my valuables including my international passport back then. I remembered going to complain to the police station same day and I was so devastated when I was told to bring money before they can even issue me a police report meanwhile it was a good samaritan that gave me a ride to the station because I had no penny ( d more reason why we all need to japa this county) Please house, any idea on how to go about retrieving my travel history from the various countries or how to fill the travel history section post ITA |

If you kept copies of your visa applications, that may help. Also, if you received your itineraries via mail, you could get the dates of travel there.

Good Evening, This was what I did in my own case and my file was approved ( I got to know this from last last GCMS notes)even though I am yet to receive PPR.( no thanks to COVID and my VO -Ottawa. My employer does not issue reference letter for immigration purpose. 1) I wrote the reference letter myself on a plain white sheet (A4) and signed while I also got my colleague to attest on it. 2) I notarized the letter.I think I spent #2k 3) Submitted the following: i) Employment Letter ii) Confirmation Letter iii) Promotion letter iv) Six months payslip v) Work Id for myself and my colleague that attested for me. vi) I wrote an LOE telling them that my organization does not issue reference letter but that I have attached the following( listed above) to prove that I work in the organization. I also ensured my Linkedin profile was up to date. Kindly note that this was my own personal experience. quote author=savvytec1 post=98008014]Good day Canadian family, Kindly help to confirm if i have done the right thing concerning inability to get reference letter. Letter of explanation stating that my company do not issue reference letter, but rather introduction letter to embassy. 2.Notarized Letter of Reference from Supervisor 3. Employee Company ID Card –Applicant 4. Employee Company ID Card –Supervisor 5. Introduction Letter from Company HR 6. Letter of Employment 7. Technical Reassignment Letter 8. Performance Appraisal Letter 9. Sterling Bank Statements of Account (Salary account) I wanted to submit pay slip. Jadel03, when you say you wrote the reference letter on an A4 paper, did you mean you typed it and printed it, or you wrote it with a pen? Secondly, how did your colleague attest on the letter? Like she just wrote a sentence or how? I'm also in this reference letter ish and I'm just tired for Nigerian employers. |

Daboll: I could not find a definition on IRCC's websites for "commission" but I think the one below applies. I assume commissions could be paid in cash or by transfer. I think the difference between it and wages is that wages are fixed and commissions are variable. Pls ask your question here so that more people can assist you. Check page 1 for the application checklist of what should be contained in your reference letter. Do what they ask, no need to fear. Pls also carefully review page 1. No conviction is greater than one you have yourself regardless of what anyone here says.

Betterlife2018: A) Number the NOC duties for 2263 from the official website from 1 to wherever it stops B) put the appropriate number from A) above beside each of your work experience letter duties. This way you and anyone helping should be able to see if most of the duties have been covered....or not. #NOCAdvice #ScientificMatching 1 Like |
