Yeahh definitely we need a striker who can challenge Braithwaite up top. We already have 4 defenders. 5 defenders if Pique returns. Even KdJ can play there if push comes to shove. Hell, Junior even had some stint at the centre back at some point.
Our problem is scoring goals not really defending them.

You are right. I agree too that Garcia is not priority.

Left back? We have Alba and Junior at that position.

Only striking position is where i think we must strengthen. We do not score enough goal for a club with our ambition.

They are good with tackling, pace and know when to overlap already.. They just need to hone their skills. Barcelona board shouldn't hamper the growth of these lads with someone whom we don't know his greatest strength and offering to a team.

Just hope barca isn't gonna do the usual 'use and dump' style on Araujo and Mingueza.

Eric Garcia is getting the attention because he was part of our youth system. And is not bad.

But, the truth is this defense has made one mistake too many to trust any of them.

A left back? Maybe. But alba isn't that bad. He's trying. And there's firpo.

It's the striker wahala that is the koko.
And given that we don't have much money, getting a striker should have been our priority, but, getting haaland(who is our target) or any other top striker is difficult. We need 50 million and above(maybe)

My brother, it's a gradual thing. One thing we should be grateful for is that he's concerned about his development as well as it affects the team.


Glaringly, you'll see that the guy didn't indulge in too much senseless dribbles, Although he lost the ball one too many times, you can as well see the ruthlessness he administered whenever he had the chance to shoot.


Our prayers for him now is should be that he maintains this good physicality for a long time. Only then can we convincingly shatter him for even the minutest of errors.

For now, let's make do with what he's offering.

He has little/no support from Oscar mingueza, beside he played with two flops in the attack, so he had to make and take most attacking decisions

I'm so damn happy for him. Playing for the whole 120 + 30 mins. Incredible!!. And also taking his penalty with aplomb. We're so desperate for him to do well. I hope his good runs without injuries continues. With him on the side, we can achieve our objectives this season. He'll also take back his spot in France national team.

Araujo has never been dribbled past ever since he broke into barce’s first team. He should been the first name that should be considered when selecting defenders for any game whether pique is available or not.

Signing Garcia for 5m + 5m(variable) even when Barcelona could get him completely free in 5 months only highlights how stupid tusquet is and should never be handed any managerial position at Barcelona.
