I'm Igbo but I disagree on the way Nnamdi Kanu is going about on this Biafra struggle. Setting up ESN is a welcome development but always imposing your wishes on million of Igbos without hearding an advice from other Igbo leaders I totally disagree on that. He was Uwazurike second man, when he left no body called him names like he is calling others today he should learn to be diplomatic. Why will anybody that have different views from Nnamdi kanu be called saboteur you can't know it all, Igbos is one of the ancient tradition that practice what today know as democracy, Igbos never have a single individual making supreme dicision. Nnamdi kanu should henceforth desist from calling himself supreme leader because Igbos never have anything like supreme leader and it wouldn't start from him. ESN can't operate without the backing of South Eastern Governor, he should learn how to be constructive not always destroying everything, Those men can not be hidden from bushes risking their life from criminal and at the same time Nigeria security men, where will they keep any criminal arrested, in the bush or hand them to Nigeria security ?

Some time ago, I made it quite clear that Kanu can never be my leader. Talk about total lack of foresight, an irresistible urge by him to always back a loosing strategy. One step forward two steps backward.

While the creation of ESN is not necessarily a bad idea, his leadership of it compromises it somewhat. He is not a security expert and should not be leading that organisation. Amotekun that he always likes to liken ESN to, is headed by security experts.

But his megalomaniac personality will blind him to this structural deficiency, just because he feels he needs to lead ESN to make him relevant. A decision that will undoubtedly send some of these ESN operatives to their early graves needlessly in then very near future.
ESN could have been led by another Igbo nationalist security expert, who is not encumbered by the IPOB tag, but well trusted by easterners. IPOB and other eastern organisations can then be funding ESN. Such a structure would have made it easier for the eastern governments to support, while the sponsorship structure will make it an impossibility for the organisation to be subsumed by the current Nigerian security outfits.

Fastforward to now that the SE governments are now talking about setting up a security outfit, now Kanu is issuing toothless ultimatums that he cannot back up, thus setting ESN up for a massive failure. Kanu's part in the massacre of Obigbo people has not been totally forgotten, and here he is, setting up another massive failure opportunity for ESN.
Does ESN have enough surface to air missiles to knock our the Nigerian airforce? Does ESN have enough heavy amour piercing projectiles to bog down the Nigerian mechanised divisions?
But because talk is cheap, he is here talking nonsense yet again.

Another point of importance being that Igbos are democratic people and don't tolerate dictatorships. Kanu may have his opinions, other Igbos will have their opinions. So he mustn't think that Igbos are zombies that canine blackmailed by the saboteur tag that he bandies carelessly at people who don't share the same views as him.
