I don't know where you did your NYSC PPA but if its with NAMA they wouldn't introduce you as an Air traffic controller. There is a different name they call corpers or IT students who do the one year program with them I'd advise you have a discussion with HR regarding this before you proceed.

I'd like to chip in a bit here regarding the air traffic controller. Do you've a diploma from the Aviation college or a license from a regulator body certifying you as a licensed Air traffic controller if not I wouldn't tell IRCC you're an air traffic controller for lack of evidence. Probably you modify the title.

Yes my PPA was NAMA, in the control tower, I had a degree in Meteorology , most of my duties were more of Assistance to the Air Traffic Controller & job of an Aviation Meteorologist.

Oh they have a name? I actually didn't know about that.

My Job duties during my service year goes thus,

- Provide information to pilots, such as weather updates, runway closures, and other critical
information

- Alert airport response staff such as Fire station, in the event of an air craft emergency

good morning house, we we went for our medicals at qlife and we declared my husband has hepatitis B, plz i hope we dint make a mistake doing that. we were asked to run some tests wch will be sent to the the doctor but am worried. i hope hepatitis b is not an issue

Ideally it shouldn’t be an issue. They will most likely do further tests -antigen, liver function and Ofcourse HIV.

Basically, it’s a case by case basis but you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. The panel physician will send details to IRCC accordingly.

No i don't have all that you mentioned, only a degree in Meteorology, 6 months industrial training at NIMET (Nigerian Meteorological Agency) & the One Year Work Experience at NAMA Control Tower.

In my CV I wrote Air Traffic Controller Trainee (don't know if it's goes well, am yet to get that title they call Corp members who worked in the Control Tower).

You seem to have some idea about the Aviation sector, do you by chance have a possible title that will likely resonate with my profile.

Seeing you intend to use this for IRCC I'd advise you ask HR to define your status as at that year. Basically in tower we call IT or corpers by just that. If you aren't employed by NAMA with the ATC title then you shouldn't use the title with IRCC. Let HR modify the one year training for you.

Basically, the tag is called Air traffic Control Cadet (not trainee) and this appointment comes with a written formal employment letter from NAMA. NCAA & NCAT are notified. It's civil service so you undergo the normal employemnt procedures before going to the college for cadetship.

Thanks for your time, I really appreciate, infact I learnt something new from your response to my questions.

Now I see that it's obvious I won't be able to use this my NYSC work experience to apply for EE.
Acquiring all of those Aviation diploma, certifications from NCAT involves lotz of money and time. Meteorology is a wide program with lots of specialization aside Aviation.

There are Two things on my mind now,

- Am left with the Store Retail Manager Job experience at my Dad's Business Venture, he pays my monthly salary in Cash.

What are the documents I need to get from him ?

Am also thinking of considering CEC (Canada Experience Class), I got a Study permit to study a One year Graduate program related to my first degree. But I don't know if a 1-year PGWP will be enough to gather CEC and enter the EE pool, and even though there are chances it will be enough, after the PGWP, stay in Canada would become invalid. Reasons why I said this is cos, me doing a 2nd program to get more than 1 year PGWP is not very likely.

What's your take/advice on this?

Thank you, and apologies for not being clear. I meant after submitting the PR application, not the EE one. I'm able to view my EE profile but for the PR I can only see a list of submitted documents. I've looked around again and it seems there's no way to view the info submitted (wanted to cross-check something in personal history)

This is an update to the above. I decided to ginger my friend to not lose hope and contact WES for an appeal of the ECA. WES was contacted using the online enquiry form and after a month and 3 days, the ECA was updated to two or more certificates.

As a lawyer , when applying for EE , in filling the form. It will ask for year u have the perhaps minimum license to practice . Which is what if I may ask ?
Finished school 2017 but got called to bar in 2019 .

My IQAS evaluated my university bachelors degree and it stated professional degree ,

So if I have to use the NOC 4112 for lawyers and Quebec notaries , do I have to start my work history from the year I got licensed to practice Or when I graduated from university?

My 3 years experience is from when I finished university till now

However , if I use my licensed year it’s not even up to two years

Or I change my NOC code to suit that Which makes me eligible enough to have 3 years work experience?
