Have the Nigerian Army propagandists here informed their pseudo-patriotic partners here that Bokoharam just took over and burnt down a military base?

The massacres of the Nigerian Army on the Nigerian people comes to mind every now and then.

Tell those 7 dead soldiers to go shoot at peaceful Nigerians protesting against the injustices of the Nigerian politicians on the Nigerian people, they would shoot indiscriminately at the Nigerian people.
illumined:
If you understand arabic, in the statement released about half an hour ago, ISWAP says 7 NA soldiers were killed and 1 was captured. 6 SUVs, weapons, and ammunition are stated as captured. 5 more vehicles, 3 APCs, and the base itself were set on fire.

The corrupt Mods should come censor this truth.

The moderators on nairaland, most especially, on this particular military thread, are as corrupt as any a corrupt government propaganda machinery. Nigerians should understand this. There is a ploy to deceive Nigerians here, turning them into government zombies. Free speech is nonexistent on this thread.

OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE: AIR TASK FORCE DESTROYS TERRORISTS’ TRAINING CAMP, OBLITERATES AMMUNITION STORAGE FACILITY AT NUWAR IN BORNO STATE

1. The Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE has destroyed a Boko Haram Terrorists’ (BHTs’) Training Camp, along with a suspected ammunition depot, and neutralized several terrorists at Nuwar in the Bama area of Borno State. This was achieved through air strikes executed on 14 January 2021 sequel to intelligence reports indicating that the cluster of huts and other structures in the settlement were being used to conduct combat training for the terrorists on a regular basis.

2. Consequently, the Air Task Force, after conducting series of confirmatory aerial surveillance missions, dispatched an appropriate force package of Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter gunships for a night air raid on the location. The helicopters scored devastating hits in the target area which led to the neutralization of several BHTs as well as the destruction of some of their structures, including the terrorists’ armoury, where multiple mini explosions were observed amidst the raging fire. Several other terrorists were taken out in follow-on attacks by the helicopter gunships.

3. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, operating in concert with other security agencies and stakeholders, will sustain the offensive against the enemies of our Great Nation. We shall not relent until peace and normalcy are restored not only in the North East but also in every other troubled region of our beloved Country.

That Marte is one of the core home base of ISWAP. Infact it and Gudzamala are the only local government never any Humanitarian has stepped into since the BH crises.

The Governor relocated them late last year back to their home town.

It was a really Big attack imagine using 18Guntrucks for a military base that's not even a Brigade. NAF really tried

If you look at these pictures closely, you could actually see the dead terrorists inside the vehicle.

In the first, the burnt driver ribs can be seen. In the second, the burnt occupant in the back seat skull and radius and ulna can be seen.

From what can understand, it seems like the NA were aware of the presence in the vicinity, they tricked them they came closer while an ambush was waiting for them, then NAF did the rest

It was a well planned ambushed, according to the reports, NA sent a couple soldiers to act as bait and draw in fire. Once contact was established, NA & NAF went BOOM!!!

How come, there are currently no offensive assets in Makurdi, the F-7s are in China, the only offensive assets assets not in the theater are in Kainji, Niger state, Port-harcourt & L-39 in Sokoto & Kano.

this battalion in marte was a battalion attack in 2018 which many solider died, after that the Nigeria army reformed the base with more equipment. marte is a border community which link the lake chad and a strong hold of iswap. form the being of this offensive mood the nigeria airforce have being very rugged especially does helicopter boy which usually send the boy to their maker. i hope amnesty will not charge the Nigeria air force for abused against iswap and bh grin

As much as the Super Tucano, Nigeria badly needs the MI-35M.

If we don't currently have enough pilots we can use hired pilots in the interim, while we build up our capacity.
