Boss how do I locate this "do it yourself" people you are referring to?
What do I need to take along before going to ikeja to see the DIY guys.
And as regards the guarantor form, should I register and pay online first, to enable me print the guarantor form and fill it before I meet the guys. Or pls what's the right order to go about it. Thank you.

For a fresh passport
1. Click on https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/epassport

2. Select "Standard ePassport" option, your country name and click "Start application"

3. Supply your biodata info and printout the "Application form" when you are done (you can save first in a PDF format for later printout)

4. Proceed to payment. When you are done, printout both the "Acknowledgement slip" and "Payment slip" respectively"

5. Generate your guarantor's form by clicking on
https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/passportGuarantor
and supply both your reference number and application Id as stated in the printouts above. Anybody with a valid passport and driver's licence/NiN slip can be your guarantor. Give the form to the person to fill and then take it to a highcourt for endorsement/signing.

Note: Atleast one of the 3 printouts will carry your interview date. The day to go to your selected passport office with the below documents. Though you can also go before or after the stated date.

1. NIN slip (1 copy)
2. State of Origin certificate (1 copy,)
3. Birth certificate (1 copy)
4. 2 passport photos
5. Application form (1 copy)
6. Acknowledgement slip (1 copy)

8. Guarantor form (1 copy). A passport photo (names written at the back and duly signed) of the guarantor. A copy of the guarantor's passport data page and NIN slip/driver's license.

To add to this if your Age is from 1992 they will only accept NPC birth certificate not declaration of age

please how far is true the immigration officer I gave money to help me do my passport keep telling that they're trying to link my passport to my NIMS and NIMS server is not working for a whole Week.( did capturing since 09/12/2020) I did it in Abuja my only issue is correction of age in which I paid him 140k ..it as been one issue to another and am running of out of time and taking it cool not to mention his name I have he's picture and name with me which I doubt I might be able to withstand anymore.

DIY means Do It Yourself. I'll advice you go through the thread from page 150 if you can't start from page 100.
I did mine in Ikoyi on Dec 29, submitted and captured same day.
Passport issued on 04 January, collected it on Friday cos I'v been too busy to visit Ikoyi all this while

Report corrupt immigration officers.
If you don’t report the corrupt immigration officers then the whole bribery and corruption in the system will never stop.
Gather enough evidence and make your report.
You can either call or email your complaint.

If you have every necessary document at hand you will be spending 25k for passport, 1k for Access fee charges, 500naira for commissioner for oath stamp.

That is 26,500naira
